Hydra - swimming - what's cooler than riding on a 3 headed giant lizard?
Shoveltusk - why not? Make an exellent charger
Rhino - be rather interesting
Hawk - flying - need more flying mounts
Boar - the armoured ones from RFK, just the right size for a gnome... a gnome snack that is, those boars can be hungry.
Sporebat - flying - possibly bought from Sporeggar at exalted.

I believe that's supposed to be a Chinese Qilin (in Japanese, Kirin). They're really neat! I want to say they're extremely benevolent beings except for when it comes to sinners, or something like that.

I'd like a hawk or eagle flying mount, a green/emerald drake, a shoveltusk, a thresher (for underwater transportation), and I'd totally ride a giant armored boar.

They've made hippocamp models. It definitely looks to me like they could be mounts. Note that these pictures are leaked from the alpha. If mmo-champion has to take them down, the links will become inactive.

The Dragon model is rideable. The Deathwing model probably uses the same skeleton. Thus it should be ridable. I'd check MMOwned for the bound-to-happen mounthack.

Rhyela, that actually isn't a kirin. Kirin in the japanese mythology have hooves.
