Haven't posted in awhile mostly due to sporadic moneys and just the general ugh. D:

-.- Need to find a job, I've been doing random menial tasks; loading hay and the lot and it pays okay it's just not steady enough work.

Not to mention where I live there's still a kind of discrimination in certain job areas. :\ I've had bosses who won't hire people of color or of certain orientations (if it were to be found out.) ......Yay southern America....

It's powerful and can be hard to watch, but it's important to not avoid the things that happen to dogs due to people being stupid.
I wish I was a millionaire just so I could save more shelter dogs from gas chambers...
I'm just so pissed that this kind of shit happens in America. It needs to get better, fast.

Yeah, people who can't take of there pets are assholes. Whether it be a Dog or an Alligator you ALWAYS have to take care of it.

Speaking of Alligators and Exotic Pets in general... I am SICK and fucking TIRED of people who give Exotic pets a bad rap. People who put them in awful conditions which the least amount of proper care required are absolutely disgusting. I would, if possible, take there pets away and care for them, no matter how dangerous it is. And that's another god damn thing, people who buy cute little animals like python hatchlings or lion cubs and when they get to adult size, they turn them loose into the wild because they're too big! They are one of the reasons why there are Big Cats roaming the Eastern United States! They are the reasons Pythons are in the Everglades! Oh, and it's not just America. There are reportedly Big Cats in the British Isles, eating entire flocks of sheep!

I really don't know why people are so STUPID to buy such animals without knowing the animal and how big it gets/what it eats/how expensive it gets. Because of THERE stupidity, people like the ASPCA, PETA, and the HSUS want to get Exotic Pets BANNED because ''They're dangerous and could eat a baby!''

And thats ANOTHER thing, all the groups I listed above use the term Exotic Pet TOO BROADLY! Exotic Pets include: Most Birds, Most Reptiles, Tropical Fish, Most Rodents such as Hamsters and Gerbils, and so forth. You're probably thinking ''That's crazy! They would never want to ban animals like Hamsters from being pets!''
Well, sorry to brake it to you.. but at one point they did. Back in 2009 there was a bill sent to congress called HR669. Basically, this bill would make the breeding, exportation, and selling of all of the pets I listed earlier ILLEGAL. Have an out-of-state vet for your Python? Can't take it, because if you do, the Government will euthanize it! Wanna breed your Hamsters Fluffy and MooMoo? Well if you do, the Government will kill them AND the babies! Oh, and you wanna sell some animals in your little hometown pet store? Nope! The Government will take them away AND KILL THEM ALL!

And that, is my rage.

I just finished watching the clip of the dogs being gased and I cannot stop bawling my eyes out! It's my ignorance that convinced me humans were better than that and would exercise only the most humane methods of euthanasia for animals ... obviously I was wrong.

Thankfully, I am a responsible pet owner so I never have to worry about any of my babies succumbing to this kind of treatment. However, it doesn't make me feel any better about the millions of animals living in shelters all of the world. I wish I had the capacity to save them all.

Yeah... that part just... I had to mute it. What's worse is my dog was in the room with me, and he watches TV, and at the beginning of the documentary he was being all silly and barking at dogs on the TV... but when it got to that part he just... got really intense. Which obviously was partly my fault for sobbing so much... but he was watching and listening and... god. I think about how lucky he got by being rescued and brought to my vets office and I wish all dogs could be that lucky. Its just disgusting. I actually didn't know they gassed dogs like that. I just can't even--nor do I want to--imagine the horror they go through in their final moments... and I cant believe people do that.... and yet they do. And it's legal. The Nazis gassed people, and it was HORRIBLE. why are animals so different? Why is it that we can just decide to throw their lives away? Okay, not enough money... how about trying a little harder to find people who will save these animals? It's just sick...

Sigh. I feel a few days of depression coming up. =/

I HATE HATE HATE having a small apartment kitchen!!!! Its so infuriorating not having room for anything!!!!! A smallest amount of dirty dishes and the counters covered!!!
One of the dishes slid off the top of the dirty pile and knocked my Saudi Arabia starbucks mug onto the floor where it smashed TT.TT
It was my favourite mug, it was nice and big. I can't help but cry. My Mom got it for me when she lived in Saudi Arabia, and I cant one on a (trusted) site to replace it...

Yesterday, one of my favourite bowls smashed on the floor as well. And its not like there are a lot of dirty dishes...just a few lunch containers and couple pots.

Incoming language!

Dear Hypothyroidism. Thank for helping me putting some pounds. Really. I needed those. I was already weighing 165lbs, which was pretty much my limit I had for years. Never went past it and I also never dropped below 155lbs. Always seemed to stay between that. Sure I could've used a diet change and i was never really skinny. I noticed a bit of a weight gain around the holiday's, but I always shed holiday weight.

Then you showed up. At first, I didn't think much of it... Until two signs set off alarms. Stretch marks and missing my little red week for several months. Finally I went to the doctor and clocked in at 30lbs heavier. Holy shit did I want to flip a table. I got blood tests done and was quickly put on medicine the next day after finding my hormone levels VERY low.

Just... guh. I'm not good with exerciser. I'm not something who wallows in self pity about my weight, but this time I'm actually getting upset about it. I shouldn't be. I should at least try to loose the weight, but I am terrible at sudden transitions.

...Sarcasm aside, I need to see the nutritionist for some advice about it. v.v

I AM NOW FREE. Oh my god. That was the longest two weeks ever. And all I did was watch films, read and play Pokemon. Covered nearly 50 hours in White now, omg. xD It's a good game!

As for the toe, I can now walk on it without pain at all. There's barely any pain left, which is a wonderful sign. The toe itself is still fairly red though but not really swollen anymore. And the toenail still looks meh but I'm expecting that it's dead and will just fall off at some point. We'll see. But for now, I've been given home antibiotics - eight capsules a day for the next two weeks, whippee. I missed all of the damn Midsummer Festival stuff so I didn't get a chance to do anything for it. Ah well, there's always next year, I'm not really that bothered.

I know this isn't really a rant as such but I realised I did need somewhere to vent about that stupid toe of mine. So it kinda is a rant... it's just not a very angry one.
