I think a lot of the issues come from aesthetics vs rarity. A lot of people like rare stuff JUST BECAUSE It's rare. It's unique, they get whispers and /jealous, and people gather around them under town to bask in their glory.

However, there are plenty of us out there who want a mount for aesthetic purposes alone and could care less about any status attached to it. And for those of us who feel that way, we camp the TLPD for 3 weeks in a row and farm Malygos every week until the sun goes down just to have the Azure drake. Those people are still putting in a ton of effort for their mounts and deserve to be rewarded for it. If their method of mount obtaining turns to learning how to AH baron/farm for the rest of their lives and purchase it, honestly, more power to them because that takes a lot of effort too.

For example, I reeeallly want the Onyxian drake. Why? Not because it's rare or ~*special*~, but because it's the only classic drake skull shape that actually looks like a dragon and not like a snake that got punched in the face.

Still, I know what it's like to have your snowflake status taken away from you. I have the Blazing Hippogryph. In Wrath and Early Cata, my whispers for it where neverending. I had /boggles and /envys from opposite faction people on a PvP server. It was pretty cool. Then, the Flameward came out. That will probably sink into obscurity as time goes on too, but is still fairly easy to obtain and looks similar enough at a glance for those who are not mount collectors. I haven't gotten a single glance since.

Does that mean I hate my Hippogryph now and will only use my Blizzard bear or Blue Dragonhawk for butt pats in town? No. Because I still like the look of it and let the effort put into the game show through my gear and achievements.

i hope to god there is another way to obtain T3 replicas aside from this Auction house......seems pretty unfair because EVERYONE wanted it to be readded and it would only cator to those with ridiculous piles of gold.

The Darkmoon Faire already has T3 replicas.

where is this at? im talking about Tier 3 raids armors. so stuff like the original cryptstalker armor models and such. is it a new vendor at the darkmoon faire in MoP?

Not that I noticed when I went to look the other day, but maybe I missed them. They are conspicuously absent from the game.

Blizzard def. said that replica armor and weapons would be sold at the darkmoon faire, but I'm not sure if they changed their minds or implemented it yet.

the T3 set comes from doing the quests in ahn'qiraj still which personally is easier to get then darkmoon replicas for high levels since you can grind the quest items weekly but i wouldnt mind seeing it added as well into the darkmoon faire (hopefully not outright replaced and instead have both options available).

For Darkmoon Faire additions, id love for world drop epics to appear on it, since ive been finding they are rediculiously rare nowadays to the point of non-existing. It'd be nice to see them getting some re-use

Actually, the AQ sets are different, and not part of a raid tier.

Tier 3 was the old Naxx 60 and the pieces are no longer available. The hunter one was Crypstalker Armor. There are two later recolors (with slightly different patterning) in the game, though: Heroes' Cryptstalker Battlegear and Valorous Cryptstalker Battlegear, mostly associated with the new Naxx (and VoA).

Ohhh, lol interesting, awe too bad to see the brown one is gone, i must say i really like the more detailed versions but the brown one is still quite fashionable
