Bots on Parade--er, Evade

Saw something hilarious today.

Levelling goblin is in Desolace, standing on a Kodo bone. Across from her, maybe 20 feet away, there's another bone--and on top of that there's a Carrion Horror (vulture) mob.

The Vulture has the goblin targetted. It can't hit her, because it's up on a bone, and so it's on Evade.

The goblin targets and untargets the vulture periodically and attempts to cast Shadow Word: Pain. She cannot hit the Vulture, because it's on evade.

AI vs AI at the finest level, ladies and gentlemen. I present to you, a player on Evade:

(Please note that the name is blurred out.) I could have killed her, but I'd rather not reset her bot so that it becomes "productive"--would rather leave her like that. She's been there for over ten minutes and hopefully will remain there for a few more hours

I did report her to her guild's guild leader, in case they have an anti-bot stance.

thats funny, I still don't understand why people use leveling bots.

I had a guildie back in Vanilla that used a leveling bot. He eventually was perma-banned, I thought it was somewhat funny. When they get full of their botting selves is when they get into trouble.

People actually bot to level? Dang. And here I thought leveling up to 80 in Cata was *too* fast.

I don't understand how people can do that to their accounts. I've often seen people in full heirlooms botting in battlegrounds.
I guess they don't care, or they don't know what the consequences are, if you're caught botting.

Oh wow, now you've got me thinking of an endless battle with two heirloomed bots fighting each other. They each use the exact same abilities at the same time, and once they get to a certain percentage of health they use the same self-heal at the same time.
