Server/fraction change effects shiny pets?

I apologize in advance if there is another post on this question. I was wondering if server/fraction/appearance change effects any shiny pets ex. (oil-stain wolf). I very tempted to switch my ally hunter to my main horde realm in hopes of turning the hunter into a panda in MoP. The oil-stain wolf is probably my most favo pet in the game, and I didn't want to get my hopes up, wondering if I would still have it, or it would be untamable during MoP (or if it already is sorry I haven't kept up with patches and shiny pets)

Thank you, I was trying to find some post about that. Mmm oh well if it does go away when i transfer the toon at least I will have lots of pics.
