I live in Alberta.....we see snow for the majority of the year. Sometimes 6 months are nothing but snow. You get sick of it real fast. >_>

I grew up in western NC, and back when I was young, twenty or more years ago, we used to have good winters. But it's changed down through the years, so that we get maybe one snow a year that actually lays, and that's usually gone inside of two days. That's one thing I enjoy about NY, you actually get to see and enjoy snow for a while.

Paranoid newbie low level players!!
Last night (5/8) I logged into my alt hunter on the Argent Dawn server and realized I was still in Ashenvale right next to Forest Song. I decide to make a lap around just to see if I come across Ursol'lok. Nope. I was next to Satyrannar (sp?) and saw a green dot on my map. I kind of cruise over to see who was there and there's a level 23 hunter with a turtle pet. I rode close enough to see if they may need help but far enough to not be a disturbance or really noticed. I saw they were fine and started to ride away with a Satyr chasing me. I just rode off not worrying about it. A little bit later I get a pst going "Nice try, didn't work". I replied back "Excuse me" and proceeded to head back to Satyrannar and sure enough there's little lvl 23. I asked "What's with the smartass remark?" Then I get a reply that really blew my mind and seriously ticked me off. He said "Either you're really rude or real dumbass. I cannot believe you'd try to pull 6 mobs then leave. I could have died." I reply "Clearly you're a newbie and weren't paying attention. I came to see if you needed help and left when you didn't. I had ONE mob follow and it didn't run anywhere near you."
He was definitely upset by this and shouted at me "I've playing for years and don't need some dumb F kid IMing on how to play that tried to get me killed. Bye"
I said back "wow sorry for attempting to help a low level newb". At that point I was fricken ticked and became even more ticked when I went to say something else and notice that he'd put me on his ignore list. Being the snatch that I am when very tired I said in general chat: "If you come across {player name} DO NOT GET NEAR THEM. If they're dieing let them. This person is a rude paranoid newbie." I then started saying stuff like "Where are you little level 23 cry baby?" while ride and flying around Ashenvale. I was going to pull a intimidation move on the level by just simply stalking him and following him. I saw him a bit ahead of me on my map then he disappeared. Darn. Guess he hearthed out of Ashenvale.

I have no empathy nor do I care even though I know that I shouldn't have called him a cry baby in general chat. But that will be the last time I check on someone to see if they may need help. No good deed goes unpunished.
