It was level 88 and elite. It wasn't hard to kill but had no loot.
Is this a Whale Shark 2.0? Or is it easier to kill?

WAY easier. I had to heal my pet a bit but not loads. I wonder if it's going to be a quest kill. If it's supposed to be some sort of world boss then it may be a bit undertuned right now.

Oh that reminds me, another thing I forgot to mention about the giant shark and whale shark I posted about, they HURT. Like, they killed my tenacity was in about 3 hits. x.x

Someone on Wowhead has reported taming Prince Lakma (level 87) (which I also noticed is not on Petopia yet). Perhaps someone may want to verify this.

Yup, he was confirmed earlier in this thread: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 61#p363161
The actual site may not show updates right away as Mania's recovering from surgery, but eventually it'll be noted. :)

Ohhhh, I just figured out what triggers the camo-effect on the Veiled Basilisks! Just approach them while unmounted, it should happen a few yards before aggro range.

There is something i'd like to know...
For those who have tamed the Thundermaws (Skoll lite) how do they compare to Skoll? If i remember well Skoll is bigger than a normal Northrend Warg and also have a different attack sound, what about the Thundermaws? Are they "different" from normal Northrend Wargs aswell?

There was a comparison pic somewhere a while back and yes, Skoll was slightly bigger than the Thundermaw. With that in mind, I'd assume the Thundermaw to be the same size as the regular Northrend Worg.

Oh, sorry i didn't catch the comparison pic in the thread but thanks anyway!
I guess Skoll may retain unique sounds aswell.

In JF, the Silverhorn talbuks have now been replaced by the new stag model. I didn't see any does left, but there seemed to be three kinds now. All were neutral:

Silverhorn Stag - all level 85, all orange model Pandarian stag
Silverhorn Yearling - all level 85, all green model
Silverhorn Calf - level 83-85, all the dark brown model

While I understand that TheDoomCookie is good, I suggest putting stuff in a different thread. It'll make it easier for sorting through later on. We *are* up to 30 pages, after all. ;)

EDIT: Make that 3*1*. Yay me?

UPDATE BY WAIN: the above referred to posts about a Lonesome George tribute NPC. I moved them all to their own thread here: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 39&t=18453

I really do think it's fine. I mean, I mostly expected the comment section of this to have discussion of beasts found. :P
But whatever. Guess I'll copy my stuff to the other thing.
Also btw, I'm also working on another thread to put all references and easter eggs in one list. XD Buuut I'll have to finish that some other time because I need sleep. x.x

Yeah... rather painful.

I'm wondering if they'll develop a female model (which could be used for fawns) too. But Blizzard's artists don't seem to be as fond of developing female models for things (unless breasts are involved ;) )

I checked out the model in WMV in case the antlers could be switched off, but no luck. It's all one piece.

If they could make a model without the antlers, and maybe the slightly more sticky-uppy ears of the Horde travel form (so it doesn't look as creepy without antlers), it would at least be a lot better.

So true. And don't forget the high heels! (Yes, I'm still bitter about the Tyrande remodel.)

I don't have much to report about beasts or pets lately (and even when I do someone already beat me to it :( ), I've been really busy in live trying to farm mounts and vanity pets for when they go account wide, so I haven't really went on beta, but I do check each patch to see if Blizzard corrected Chibee's size once tamed, and so far with this new patch he is still huge. :|

Another thing I noticed too, seems like I'm able to switch my pet's specs on the go without visiting the pet trainers. Not sure if it's a bug, something only for beta to facilitate testing, or something Blizzard decided to let us do due to Stampede. That would be nice honestly since we would be able to solo with a tenacity specced pet while waiting in queue for a dungeon, and then once we are summoned to it we could change our pet's spec to ferocity and use Stampede without fear of our tank pet taunting mobs and getting mauled to death.

We found a couple of giant eels off the north coast of the most northerly island in Townlong Steppes. Spawn of G'nathus, and G'nathus himself. Didn't get close enough to check tameability but I'm guessing not. G'nathus was a ?? Elite (Skull) and Spawn of G'nathus was a Lv 91 Elite.

Wain wrote:These guys are probably worthless on this list since they're eels, but for interest I'll post them anyway.

In the far north-west of TLS, around the western and northern coasts of the Shan'ze Dao island, there are swarms of freaking HUGE eels. All are the black and purple skin. One is called G'nathus and wanders, and is an aggro boss level elite (though she passed right by me several times and never attacked). The rest are "Spawn of G'nathus" and are level 91 aggro elites.

Hate to be a spoilsport, Loki, but Wain brought that up a few pages back. ^^;

*nodnod* I'm also not worrying about sea creatures anymore except for crabs. XD They're super annoying to put on the list so I was just like WHATEVER and took them off. Buuut it's still cool to report them here. :)
