Anyone know enough about skype?

Hey there i rather ask here then mmo champ frankly i think the people here are nicer haha

Anyways i was trying to do a dual commentary with someone using screen share but all i could see was his mouse and the emulator he was using to play the game but the screen was black >.> he tried several other programs but none worked they all timed out, so i guess my question is why doesn't it work? could it be the program his using? or is it my computer been retarded? or even my internet been retarded lol?

It's so annoying because i've never done a dual commentary and would like to do one but unless i can see the game i can't comment because i wouldn't know what to comment on so yeah can this be fixed or am i screwed?

Also do i maybe need to turn something on over my side? or should i just be able to press OK and it should work on it's own?

Ah well too bad I guess I would of really liked to have done that commentary

Can't believe I didn't see this sooner. Anyways was he playing the game full screen? For whatever reason Skype's screen sharing won't show fully screen games. He'd have to play it in a windowed mode.

I'm sorry I didn't think anyone would answer but nope it looked windowed because it was small he thinks it's just the emulator he uses

And I'll ask him if it was windowed but it might just be the program and then unless he changes it then there's no way we can do the commentary

But you see we used other programs as well so that's we're it wouldn't make sense because other programs didn't work either, like other screen sharing programs just timed out it was so dumb!

The only other screensharing program I've used is https://join.me/. Works like a charm, but I don't think I've done any thing for full screen. I've tried time and again to play fullscreen games from anywhere with my friends, but it hasn't worked. Can't tell you about the emulator since I haven't used mine in so long.
