Unable to summon pets...

My guild was working on heroic spine tonight and after a wipe I got the message that my pet was dead when I tried to summon it. I tried to rez it, but got the message that I did not have a pet. I tried to pull out another pet and got this same message with every pet I had with me. I went to the stable master and moved the pets in and out of my 25 slot stable, but the problem persists. I have tried reloading ui, re-logging wow, changing specs, clearing cache and disabling mods. I can see my wolf beside me on the character screen when I log out, yet the only pets I am able to summon are the ones that were in my 25 slot and not actively with me during raid. I really do not want to have to go re-tame all of these pets as I am attached to them just as they are, not to mention they are taking up the stable spots still. I have a ticket in, but I am wondering if this has happened to any of you before and what you did to fix it.

My fiance had this happen once during Wrath of the Lichking with his wolf. It was when you still could only have one pet with you and so he couldn't use any pets at all because the others were sitting in the stables but he couldn't put the wolf in the stables. He wrote a ticket about it and the case was so complicated we even had a Gamemaster in Thunderbluff who worked on the problem with the wolf. For a short period he had two wolfes out at the same time and then the Gamemaster had worked his magic and everything was back to normal. Stabling and dismissing worked. No more problems after that. I got a response to my ticket when I was online today. The GM basically had to log into my toon for me while I was on my alt and force my wolf to show back up. This in turn fixed the issues I was having with being able to summon the rest of the stable. I was worried they would just give me a new wolf and I would lose my oil stained version. I was relieved when I logged back over and he was his normal black inky self. It was interesting seeing myself log in and out though

I'm glad it was fixed so fast. And good to know your oil wolf stayed black. If I should ever have trouble with my sparkling tallstrider I'll know he'll stay himself.

I've had an issue like this a few times, though for me, just doing a /reload and then re-dragging the "call pet" icon out of my spell book and plonking it over the on that was on my bar seemed to have fixed it...

So this same thing happened again last night with the same pet/boss fight and after we both died. My pet does not usually die on this fight, but I did remember when it bugged out the night before it was when he died right before I did. The GM had to once again log into my character to get the pet to show up again. He said he was going to put in a report as this might be an bug with that particular pet dying on that particular fight. I have been using a different pet ever since so that it -hopefully- won't happen again, but I wanted to give a heads up in the event any of you use an oil stained wolf.
