Yay!
My guild (one I just joined, BF was in it for a while) is starting to sell their heroic DM drake. xD They've all got that too! I am super jealous.

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
I've been going with an openraid group for a few weeks now to hc Firelands.
Last night, the Alysrazor mount dropped and I stated in chat that I'm notoriously unlucky for winning mounts I needed to roll on. Our raidleader feels the same and didn't even want to roll on it but did...and he won! He was so happy.
Then, we killed Raggy and we roll on his mount. The plan is to go every week with more or less the same people, and those who are regulars get a bonus on the mount roll. Last night was the first night we actually implemented this but this time, I didn't need a bonus to win a roll. I rolled 100 on the Raggy mount, for the first and most likely last time in my mountrolling wow history
But, I'll still join every week till everyone gets the mount. I'm just so happy that my lucky roll came sooner rather than later!

Here are some of my rarer mounts and how I got them. I don't have a lot of new ones, as I can't solo things for the life of me and I don't raid a lot.

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Been soloing EoE weekly on all of my 85s! Finally, finally had an Azure Drake drop... On my druid who hardly uses mounts! Just my luck. I can't wait until they're account bound!

Still soloing Ony on all my alts. No luck yet! But I'm at least still buzzing from this mount.

Grats, it's my favorite of that line of drakes. I'm so glad I got it back in Wrath from a guild run because it must still be a pain to try doing it now.

After literally years of procrastination I finally have one of my favourite land mounts in the game - The Forsaken Warhorse. Laziness and a dislike for jousting had me putting this off forever, but with MoP on the horizon I finally worked up the motivation to start clearing through these Argent Tournament dailies.

Ohh nice mounts! Im working on the metas to but sadly its sooo hard to get a group if you dont have alot of heroic experience... For H rag usually they want you to have atleast 6/7H experience.

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Nice! Congrats on all the mounts both rare and tedious to obtain! :p With MoP looming will the HC Raggy mount go from 100% drop to something horribly low? I've got very little hope of obtaining it before MoP with my 2 normal kills of Beth and the dog guy... yeah that bad I can't recall his name. -.- EDIT: SHANNOX!
I've had a great splurge of luck in the last couple of weeks.
So first off I'm still super psyched to get my Violet Proto-Drake after just over a year of playing! This time last year I was probably still in Outland, perhaps just about to venture to Northrend on my first toon.

Back to more recent times, I got both a Fox Kit and a Razzashi Hatchling days from each other (already had the hatchling) and not long after with a little help from my Lashtail Hatchling got my Littlest Pet Shop Achi!
But this is a mount thread. So back to mounts and the day before yesterday I had a go at soloing Stonecore to Slabhide on normal mode... I could do it! So from then on I'll be doing 5 runs a day along with my 5 Stratholme runs.
Of course I've not seen a drop yet but something MUCH better happened today!
I was on my way to Stonecore, to do my 5 runs, doing a sort of obligatory lap of Aeonaxx spawns but not really thinking about it (it's so ingrained from the pebble quests and various camps), crusing my way to the instance entrance when my scanner goes off and before it fully hit me I was looking straight ahead at Aeonaxx himself in the North-East spawn point!

O_O <- I believe this was my reaction! Also repeating "What!? Really!? Nooooo waaayy, no way, are you serious!?" I have NEVER before that moment had the privilige of just coming across a mount dropping rare spawn or getting mounts on the first run of anything yet it happened at the best possible moment! My favourite Stone Drake and my first Stone Drake.
My fiance was there too and was about to say something to me when I went "WHAT? Really? Ohh my god look!" couldn't beleive what I was seeing! Such an awesome surprise!
Although I have done a lot of camping for this guy before, it's nice to just fly in and pick it up, especially since I missed it by a couple of hours one day and the hassle from other campers I've had with this.
Both Horde and Alliance, friend and foe decided the spot I had been at for hours and hours was also their spot and wouldn't leve me alone. Even when the others are totally empty. No where near as bad as some others on PVP realms (someone from this very forum had a lot of stress with it) but quite annoying and off-putting none the less. Especially from people I was nice enough to help.

Scanner went off again because a long time ago I read that you could pick up his hostile ID on the scanner to tell you when someone was flying on him.

Obligatory kill + prize pic! :p

There was someone who I bet was fizzing something fierce when this spawned. When I saw the drake I made a bee-line straight to him but on my way I spotted a camper on a TLPD who was well within range who wasn't budging. Nor had they moved when I passed them again on my way out. :/ They must have been AFK, when they return they'll be so gutted. >.< While I know how gutwrenching and infuriating it is to just miss something like this I beleive I've put a fair share of time into this mount on previous days, sometimes weeks and it just so happened all that time didn't happen directly before the thing spawned. I knew if I ever saw it, I was going for it!

To finish, my new mount and newest pet together in sunny Stormwind!

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
You guys are not going to believe this... might in fact get sick of me and my luck.
IMAGE HEAVY AND LONG... like with all my silly posts.
I opened my mail and what did I see? A bottle of brew? Why thankyou Brew of the Month Club! Also my last brew for Brew of the Year!
I did not expect for this to happen however.

Freaken awesome! <3 I wish I could keep it!
I got something else. Today I started way up in Western Plagulands and finished getting the quests done there for loremaster then went and done Eastern Plaguelands. Flew down to do Tol Barad dailies, all this being outside of the usual order I do things in when I first log on. Normally I do the Dal cooking daily then do a camel tour of Uldum before Tol Barad but today I did that after my duties in TB were done with.
Following the path suggested on a video somewhere I started at the little buildings near a bunch of sheep critters, not far from the dam or Armagedillo's spawn point and I had just reached the grassy cliff near there when my scanner went off. It wasn't Armagedillo, it was a Camel figurine... THE camel figurine as I had the smelly dud cached from last week!
But for the life of me I could not find it. At all. I was getting really anxious and down right irritated that no matter how hard I looked I couldn't see a sparkle, a hump, nothing. "Serves me right, I can't be THAT lucky so soon after Aeonaxx" I thought and was also getting mad at Blizz for making them so dang small. :p Really silly I know but I was getting frantic! I wanted that camel!
Then a ray of light! A friend of mine who I've only known for about a month through WoW came online. I told him what was going on and he offered to help me find it. I gladly accepted his offer and sure enough after yet more poking and prodding around he told me to come over as he had found it!
I still couldn't see it. He said it was right in front of him and he was jumping on it etc and I just wasn't seeng it. ._. I had to dismiss my corehoud as he's so bulky and it still took me a full minute to find the thing! I never saw the full figure all I could see was the cursor turn into a cog and a little patch of camel figurine + sparkle poking through the grass! Honestly an absolute nightmare to spot!
And the guy still let me click on it. <3 That guy, one in a million he really is. I have a lot of re-paying to do!

Here's the pain in the butt spot it was at! Not in the big spikey plant but just behind my camel's feet. It was small enough to hide in the smaller plants there! All the times I was doing scouts for it I kept saying to myself "I hope the real one doesn't show up in one of these hellish grassy areas, that would be pretty hard to find." Typical eh? :p The real one is the hardest to find!

A group photo to remember the day better and a nicer shot in SW as the lighting is better and I have the Uldum portal too.
Insane luck I know, I have no idea where it came from 2 rare cata mounts in 2 days pretty much and 2/3 of the rare spawn drop mounts Cata brought with it. All the hours spent on everything and all the good karma I've racked up with helping people seems to be paying off. While this is only my 10th/11th (sure it's 11 but I can't remember one camel for some reason) figure it has been many months since I first started loking for it (pretty much since I reached 85) and it has felt like a lonnng time looking for it. Although I know how lucky I am to have it in only 10/11 figures. Really wtf is going on? If there is a wow god they sure do love me just now!
I recently got promoted to Guild Master too... wonder if this is like a "good luck" gift or something from karma or the wow gods... also got pooped on by a pidgeon a few weeks ago... that's supposed to be lucky too... I dunno I'm just happy with it all!!! Also if you find a friend like the one I have, keep them. Not many people are as kind as this guy, anyone else from my own guild (bar 3 lovely souls) would have snapped that camel up! He's not even in my guild!!
