Oh wow, grats on everything! Especially Al'ar, I hear he's kind of a pain to get (and that a lot of people don't end up liking the mount much). How do you like him?

Well, I have to say I like my proto drakes more, but I am giving them a break to use this guy more, then I'll add him to my mount macro, which right now consists of TLPD and green proto. I think the thing that bothers me are the streamers that trail behind him. It just really gets in my face and I have to angle my camera differently to really enjoy this mount.
Honestly, he's not the perfect match for Mia, she's more of a dragon person, but I am very much looking forward to using him on my human hunter, Sarahma.

God I'm such a MORON. I've been camping Aeonaxx while beta testing, and I decided to STUPIDLY TAKE MY HEADSET OFF and watch some Olympics, and Aeonaxx SPAWNS RIGHT ON ME AND WAS UP FOR AN ENTIRE MINUTE. And I fucking missed him. I'm so frustrated. Who the shit knows when he'll spawn for me again. I can't believe I absolutely BLEW IT.

Maybe the person who got it recently got laid off and their dog just died and they found out they weren't really their 2 year old son's biological father. They also volunteer at animal shelters and call bingo for War Vets on Wednesday nights.

So, after seeing Reins of the Grand Black War Mammoth drop 4 or 5 times, I FINALLY got one of my own! Super happy! This jumps my mount number up to 141 and I now have all of the mammoths! ^.^
I'd like to thank the group I run with every week, and of course my rhino, Ponto, who is good luck for Wrath rare drop mounts! <3

Congrats! But how do you get people to run raids like this with you? My guild is totally dead and all the others won't let me join for lack of raid experience. :/

I'm a part of a group called OWL. OWL stands for Old World Late-night. It's a group of people on Argent Dawn-US (this group has been together since Burning Crusade, they used to run old Naxx and what not) and now recently some other-server people that go to old world raids for fun and lewts. Everything is free roll as long as you can use it, with the exception of mounts and legendaries. Mounts and Legendaries are rolled out on a system that rewards people who are more loyal to the raids and attend often. Basically, you get an "attendance point" for every time you attend and complete a raid, and those points add up the more you attend. So people who show up more have a higher chance to win mounts or legendaries, but we also have plenty of new-comers winning things, so it's far from impossible to win stuff if you're a newcomer. But yeah, that's how I get it all done. XD Every week we do EoE, Ony, VoA (which can only be ran with same-server people, sadly), TK, BT, Sarth3D, and Sunwell.

Also ugh! The stacker is on my camping spot so I'm just farming for Slabhide until I get tired. =/

Wow... I'm having awesome luck and TERRIBLE luck at the same time. -_-
Just found Aeonaxx AGAIN and I was aware of the spawn this time, but some Horde guy beat me to him. Just... ugh. It gives me this sick feeling in my stomach when this happens. I just gotta stick to it though... I know one day he'll spawn close enough and I'll be there to grab him!

Oh my god... but I just armoried this guy, he had three mounts before getting Aeonaxx, a wild rider, and two paladin kodos. So basically this guy just got LUCKY. God this is just so frustrating. I don't even know how he beat me to him. He came out of nowhere. -_- And when he mounted up to leave he didn't even use the mount. UGH. (And I'm not saying he's a bad person for being lucky (though his name makes him seem like one of the jerk people on my server <.< but even then I shouldn't judge because you just never know) it's just more frustrating when you lose it to someone who most likely wasn't camping for it. =/)

I think I might have semi-paused in shock that he spawned again. I wonder what would have happened if I had just booked it. I also think I semi-paused in shock because I forgot that friendly Aeonaxx = GOGOGOGOGOGOGO
