I really wish there were people my age (26) around that still liked to play Pokemon. ATM all I can do is teach the younger kids (4yr+) how the game is played...but sometimes it would be nice to play against someone that actually knows what they are doing...

Same for play on the DS, I would really love to site and play Pokemon with others in my age range...but, they just don't seem to exsist...

Phfft, I wished people my age still play. Most of the teens my age think of it as a stupid, little kid thing. I don't but that's because I can still remember back when i was young, watching the first season of Pokemon on 4kids T.V and 10 in the morning on Saturdays.

If it makes you feel any better Makoes, I'm 30 and I still play. I also have friends older than me who play Pokemon still >_>

I like it still and I'm 26. It's a good game and I can play it with younger cousins. A lot of my friends like it too. I think Awkward zombie had a great comic on the cycle of Pokemon (A lot of college students went back to it, weirdly).

But I don't think any of you live in BC, let alone on the island...
All the other parents that I get to gather with for play dates with our kids are either to old to have gotten into Pokemon, or stopped playing years ago.

Part of me wants to stick an add in the paper:

Pokemon Players wanted (cards and/or video games) for monthly get-to-gathers, must be 20yr+. Feel free to bring your kids, snacks provided.

I live in Nanaimo, on Vancouver island. My Dad lives in Victoria, so I go to visit him sometimes.

hcfgkhjgfdkg Wait Olympia as in, Washington state Olympia? ....Me and my dad drove through there today on our way back from a day-long trip to Oregon. Hah! XD

Ahem, anyway. So little update on my Double Battle team for the Battle Subway.. First off, I decided to use a Sub-Bulk Up Mienshao instead of a Dusknoir (You'd be VERY surprised how well a set like that works for a frail little thing like Mienshao.). And in all honesty? Despite the team needing QUITE a lot of strategy (Which I fail at a lot sometimes.), it's been working quite well. Kisari, my Shiny Gardevoir, is pretty amazing, too, even if he's there to just set up Reflect and Light Screen, and occasionally use Healing Wish or Psychic. Mila the Zoroark is awesome, even if she's a Scarfer, so she's given me a little trouble thanks to getting locked into one move.. And Kaji the Moltres? He is all sorts of powerful. The only thing that annoys me is how often I get surprised by something knowing a Rock type move and Kaji getting absolutely demolished by it. >.<

All in all, this team is working out pretty well.

Hah, that's awesome! I guess that means we live only a few hours from each other. XD *Lives in Issaquah*

Though, side note, Makoes, I find it awesome that you live in Nanaimo. I've gone through there a BAZILLION times, since I have family in Victoria, so we'd go to visit a LOT. Granted, we don't go there as often anymore. It's a biiit more of a travel when one lives down in Washington, instead of in BC, now. XD

:headbang:
In other news:
I got my Unfezant to Level 100, and my Virizion (Who I have named Selva, meaning Forest) is close behind at Level 85.
Now, I need to go and level up the rest of my team, and make the Alt team(s) (One to transfer over to White 2, and one of Rp/Story purposes.)
Oh....
I NEED SHINY LUCK!!!
.....
In my Pokemon Platinum, I've seen a total of 4 shinies now. 3 where in the safari zone....
and they ran away.

That sucks!! would hate to run into shinies in the Safari zone.

Impatiently waiting for the Keldeo event...9 more days to go... Haven't really been playing much Pokemon ,generally my DS has been siting in the bottom of my back pack, collecting cookie crumbs. Keep meaning to go into the dream world and catch Pokemon there, but habit makes me click Wow, and once I am there...well, I might as well play for a bit right? Same for meaning to turn in the plethora of codes I have from booster packs for virtual packs...Dragons Exalted set has finally come out, wonder how many packs it will take me to Find Haxorus! Did get Deino as my first "dragon" type card! Finally dragons have their own type of card now!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
alright, looks like I'll be pestering somebody to take me to game-stop so I can get it ^_^ I also found a little annoying thing out...a friend of mine has wi-fi, but it will only work for the DSI....and their DSI won't charge...I spent a couple hours just fiddling with it to try and get it to charge..I think it needs new batteries.
