On EU a couple of people I know got Poseidus on Sat evenings from 4 pm onwards (missed him last week by mere minutes @_@). Apparently if he's nabbed early on his first spawning he'll show up later in the week too.

I'm currently sitting in front of Nespirah after being dislodged from Ruins by the lovely stackers of Alonsus. -.-; Honestly there's 1 other person in the zone with us (me and the stacker) and 3 spawn points (plus the Abyssal Depths one which was empty last I checked), I really get sick of this. Fair enough if they don't have the overlay and don't know where all the spawns are but you'd think if they know there's a beast to camp at all they'd have noticed the heaps of advice on the internet. I apologise for ranting here, my fiancé seems to be on the side of the stacker which made me more irritated.

I've been camping pretty much all day today and nothing to be seen. I have a few things I want to do so I'll go back to camping later and pray I haven't missed anything. There honestly didn't seem to be any other people looking for Poseidus at all. Obviously I'm not 100% sure about Alliance side but Horde side there was only ever one other level 85 and he was a hunter camping for Burgy Blackheart. (I found Burgy as soon as I entered the zone this morning and didn't kill him because I already had the hat, I tried to tell the guy when he appeared only half an hour or so after but he didn't seem to listen. Ah well.) So the whole place has been pretty dead which, of course, is perfectly fine with me. It's funny really. I had no interest in Poseidus when I first heard about the mount. Only when I was circling around last night did some kind of interest spark and I realised I actually kinda wanted this mount, even if it's just to add to the collection. I dreaded the idea of camping for it though because I assumed there would be some people out there 24/7 camping and killing him so they can sell the mount for profit on the auction house. But now... there doesn't seem to be anyone. I shouldn't jinx it though! I'll have to keep my eye on the auction house as well for any new Reins of Poseidus auctions.

And tell your fiancé that stacking is a big no-no when it comes to camping and that any good camper knows this. <:

Indeed, your fiance needs a smack! I explained to my BF about stacking and he was like "Wow that's kinda shitty!" Maybe try explaining it to him again. xD

Everdeen - when does the EU servers go down for maint and when do they normally come back up?

Yeah, I almost bit my own BF's head off for 'helpfully' stacking on me 'cause he wanted to hang out--his rocket's engine kept me from hearing if anyone was flying by, damnit! I am not a touchy-feely-huggy person in-game when camping. I will chat with someone all day long, but get REALLY uncomfortable if someone's cuddling their toon up to mine while I'm on the hunt.

Mmhm, it's so true. I once had a gut feeling, while sitting around in Dalaran, that Time Lost had been killed. So I flew over and low and behold, he was dead.

My Aeonaxx though gave me no gut feeling warning whatsoever. In fact, before my NPC Scan went off, I'm pretty sure I was making a -.- face from being so bored and the constant sight of Deepholm was never helping. But, for some odd reason, once I got my Aeonaxx, I couldn't stop coming back to Deepholm! Ever since then I've felt like I'll see Aeonaxx again so I can watch him until someone grabs him.

I think watching The Return of the King last night was a bad idea though, I was up until 3:00 AM which isn't normal for me and I didn't wake up until 11:00 AM... I think I missed a spawn. x___x

Those weird feelings are certainly a strange occurrence. The only times when they have been exceptionally strong was when I knew there would be a second shiny Axew in my batch of eggs in Pokemon White and the other when I was completely positive that TLPD would spawn. It did and I missed it by seconds. I was sooo gutted, it was the first time I'd seen it.

Other odd feelings have been with low drops, I knew Rivendare's would drop on my Belf alt which it did so and didn't win it.

Nevermind that Ever!! Your thread is the lucky thing not me!! After posting in it yesterday I got Poseidus, hopefully yours will follow Aeonaxx to you soon! Btw don't expect a fast swimmer... he's a bit slow. Anyone know just how fast he is?

I heard he swims at the same speed as the Sea Turtle mount, so not very fast. Isn't that just 100% speed in the water? So basically the same as a ground mount on land?

It is a nice mount, but sadly I much, much prefer my PSD. This is just a mount to add to the collection me thinks.

Congrats on your Twilight drake! I absolutely adore them however I agree that PSD looks much better.

Hmm well maybe he just feels slow, possibly from having the abyssal seahorse for so long. I will be having a race with guildies later on. :p

I've not thought about what mounts should go where apart from that my main is the only one who will be using her best mounts. I want her to be the special one :p she did collect them all after all.

There's a good chance my PSD may go to an alt that I feel works better with it, but I'll see about making an xmog for it.

I def prefer my blue xmog + azure drake. IDK I just have an azure drake weakness. XD

*Doesn't have another character* <: I'll be making a female pandaren warrior in MoP but mounts for me often depend on the transmog set being used.

I have a big feeling now like I've completely missed my chance at Poseidus this week, so I'll go back next Saturday/Sunday and camp. My boyfriend will be over which always makes camping easier.
