Pets No longer Have Debuffs? (UPDATE: false alarm)

WOOT! I reaaallly hope this is true. I could finally arena with my flaming sausage! I dare not ask someone to test it for confirmation though...
I actually might try it with my misty, ghost carrion bird, since I THINK they are still tameable after this last patch. Though, I suppose we will need someone to test if even THAT pet can be obtained now. This whole removal of buff/debuffs on the pets might be a further way to prevent future taming of the select few glitch pets that actually still worked.... so many questions...

Hmm. Scratch all that I said. My pets all appear to still have their buffs/debuffs.. so i guess it didn't change for me.

First off -- I'm stuck away from home and haven't logged in to check on my glitch pets for this patch, so your title gave me a total heart attack.

Second, this may be a good sign, though Garwal's worgen form was technically a debuff but it was coded so it didn't show up as such on the pet screen. It still lost the worgen form and reverted to a white wolf upon arenas.

Any fragile pets like the ghost Ashenvale Runners have any change?

I don't have one so I'm not sure, but if the little buff/debuff on their name plates then it could be posable that they will stay that way, as there is no longer a buff/debuff to remove.

The flaming pig has *never* shown a 'debuff' for me. It has always just had the flames as a invisible debuff. Don't go risking your pet in arena!

Don't do arenas but my Fippy still has the oiled coat 'buff'

Did you look at the pictures? The visual is still there but the debuff under the nameplate is gone. That's what I'm talking about, the debuff not the visual.

yupe. When I look at his portrait he still has the buff/debuff "Oil-Coat." I'm running the default UI for my group and raid display. I think it must be something with your UI that it isn't showing up.

Ya to be clear folks, the oil stain still has a debuff, gladly there is no arena's or RBG at the moment and no one should of lost there pet due to bad information.

Always check your UI, just another reason why wow default> fancy ui
