I'll be waiting on the highland, with its wonderful serenity.
Where the stars glow and the brooks flow, that's my way of life.
When the mountains on the highland, and the nature is surrounding me, when the wind blows, that's all I need.

I did a /assist macro, but I need to flip to that screen and click it each time.
Oh BTW, i'm doing a Feral druid on my main screen, and a Boomkin on the 2nd screen (who is the follower). I have it down where i flip over quickly and hit a key to cast Wrath, but I didnt know if there would be a way to just control it on my main screen without having to flip over before each cast

Also, in the "Interface" menu, under "combat" you must check the 1st box: "Attack on assist"
my own assist macro (it probably will work the same way using Hotkeynet) is:
/assist party1
/petattack
/castsequence reset=target spell1, spell2, spell3, spell 1, spell1, spell3, and so on and so forth..
whatever works best in the castsequence.
"reset=target" will reset the macro if your target changes.
Oh wait, Sukurachi would I be able to do a /castsequence reset=target Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Wrath and then I would only have to flip over and click it once??? (that would be beneficial)
maybe thats my problem, i didnt have the "Attack on assist" checked either I believe

Blizz will not allow a function that lets you cast multiple actions with a single button press. (that's considered "botting")
A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.

Oh shucks, if I have "Attack on assist" on what will that do exactly?Sukurachi wrote:no, castsequence you have to keep pressing the button.

One more question, do you think having Bartender messes up dualboxing? When I have the hotkeynet running, I can press any key on my action bar (i have to click)
Thanks for your answers both of you

Re: How does one Multibox 2 toons?
/assist party1
will start you doing auto-attack, which ever that may be.
if you're a melée class, and you're not right up and personal with the mob, your second account (the "follow") will constantly be giving the message "you are too far"... which you won't see, since you're dual-boxing.
for hunters, it triggers auto attack with your ranged weapon.
so the entire macro, at least for my hunters, would be as follows:
/assist party1 (starts autoattack, and sends pet in to attack a well, if your pet is set to assist you)
/castsequence reset=target (this will reset the macro as soon as you change targets) spell name, spell name, spell name, spell name (obviously, you fill in whatever your rotation is, here).
the attack macro will require you to press whatever button you've assigned the macro to, repeatedly, to activate each spell/ability in sequence (thus the name "/castsequence"). So on my hunter macro, I might have Arcane shot, Cobra shot, Arcane shot, Cobra shot, etc...
Personally, I like to keep things like Kill Shot and Kill Command out of a macro, because you never know when exactly those fit into your fight
However, since I use two computers, I actually see what my "follow" toon is doing on the 2nd monitor.
I've simplified matters for myself by having everything accessible from either a four-button mouse or a small USB numpad I bought for like $10.
The 4-button mouse has the usual left and right click functions.
but the two extra buttons I've mapped to "3" and "4" on my main action bar.. and in those slots of my action bar are the macros for "follow" and "assist".
Every single one of my toons on the "follow" account has 3 and 4 set to those macros.
I set the minus sign on the numpad to "mount", so all my toons mount from the same button as well.
my only problem was - I just replaced my USB numpad because of this - with the old numpad, for some odd reason, I couldn't strafe right with. Left was no problem, but right wouldn't work.

I might quit now that i'm a bit ahead
Once i took Bartender off, it worked fine. I think Bartender messes up hotkey's info or something
Thanks for the help both of you

Otherwise you can always put your wrath spell on all your keys, exept the ones with the follow and assist macro. That way it will cast wrath everytime you use an ability on the leader character.
Don't know if that was what you were looking for.
