GW2 Screenshots Thread [Img Heavy]

Since we didn't have a thread yet!

I've been trying to take screenshots of all the new pets I've been taming. I would kill for a Move To or Stay command, they always run so far ahead of you by default, it's hard to 'trick' them into staying close for a photo.

The Armorfish has that "so ugly it's cute" kind of trait going for it. I'm rather fond of mine. I'm dying for WoW to get aquatic pets now that I've experienced them in GW2. They're just so fun! And it doesn't seem too difficult to program them so that they can only be called while in water, just like the druid swim form and such.

I found myself strangely attached to my armored fish. I dunno why. I thought the drakes would be the ones I'd use, but I actually love my little Phil... Yes his name his Phil. For now anyways.

I should try to get some good screen caps of my pets. I adore my wolves. <3

He's an Ice Drake, and definitely my main pet.

They're in the Norn area by the river, it was the first thing I ran out to tame. I'm becoming quite attached to the Polar Bear too, I love his markings.

That fish you are holding at the bottom is cool but that spider is very wtf looks like a Facehugger had sex with a spider.

I'd like to try the game but I'm going to wait for a free trail I don't want to spend $90+ on a game I may not like XD

I'm sorry guys, I'm like the only one posting here, but I've taken over 500 screenshots in the past few days because EVERYTHING IS GORGEOUS.

I think the Norn area at night might be my favourite place in the entire game so far.

How are you guys able to turn the interface off? I haven't been able to figure that out yet for screenshots.

If you go into Options and Keybindings you should find it. I changed it to be Alt+Z just like WoW, but I forget the default one.

So far any dolphins I've encountered have been friendly units and can't be attacked. Not sure about whales, haven't seen them yet.

Ah I can see why they'd do that last game I know who was going to have killable dolphins got in trouble. That was Age of empires 2 and it was along time ago XD

I don't think WoW got in trouble for the Orcas tho :S

Here's a few screenshots of my norn ranger, Tarja, and her favorite pets. Unlike Toph, Tarja is not photogenic, she looks rather annoyed in most of these. I really need to dye her armor with something more colorful.

Cassie

I ran all the way to Snowden Drifts(?) at level 13 with my boyfriend and his brother just to get her (having wolves and griffons constantly trying to eat our faces was not fun). She's been Tarja's main pet ever since then, though I do give her breaks from adventuring and fights.

Bloodfeather

I haven't had Bloodfeather for too long, since I got him a few days ago, so he hasn't been with Tarja as long as Cassie and Valentina have. I managed to get a closeup of him even though it looks like he's photobombing me. >_>

Valentina

Valentina was the first moa Tarja tamed, but she's not really a fighter, she's just along for the ride and she leaves the hard work for Cassie and Bloodfeather. I love her blue eyes.

Leafy

Leafy is Tarja's newest pet, and he's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I absolutely love how detailed he is, and his idle animations make me smile. He's named for the Leafy monster from the first two Monster Rancher games since his appearance reminded me of it.

They're unkillable, just friendly little vanity mobs it seems. ^^
