My Aeonaxx Camp*update: Peace Out, Deepholm*

I just got a whisper from a nice warlock letting me know he killed Aeonaxx at 4:30 am. Seeing as how this was about 9 hours ago I believe him and think he's telling the truth. So that's the 4th miss. It doesn't really matter since there is no way either of us could have stayed up until 4:30am. And the camping continues!

Exactly, so it's not a big deal! ;D Aeonaxx spawned when you wouldn't have been camping and, since it is 9 hours ago, he could spawn right now for all you know. Good luck! <3

Well for me it's nice to know he spawns at 4:30am. Cause that is when I prime camp. Hopefully he will repeat this on my sever when I am off work.

Spawns are completely random. The chances of seeing him again at exactly 4:30 AM as slim. Possible but slim.

Yeah it really is just random. The times I know he spawned are between 6-7pm, 9am, 3:30am, and 4:30 am, all about 3 days apart from each other. He could have spawned more often but I've been pretty much camping for at least 14 hours a day so probably not.

ETA: Most of yesterday and for a few hours today I've been camping on the dead server on my lock. This place is a ghost town!! There's usually noone in Deepholm so my competition is scarce. For some reason the last few days there have been at least 4-5 campers along side me on CR. Maybe the holiday weekend? Either way, I have a much better chance on the crap server....now he just has to spawn.

Another good thing about being on this server is that I have a good chance at winning the Fishing Tournaments on the weekends. I've had all the ach's for the Salty title since back in Wrath but being on KJ the chances of winning were slim to none. I'm going to try for it before I transfer my lock back to KJ. Oh and I can fly on a flying carpet and don't hear the annoying "flap flap flap" of mount wings lol!

So apparently I spoke too soon about having no competition! Apparently Deepholm is a cross realm zone on this server! F#@%!*% great! There's another camper here from another realm who doesn't show up on /who but I saw while doing a lap of the spawn points. I thought cross realm was for the old classic zones! Nope! FML! I'll never get this drake!

ETA: Right after I finished typing the above two more campers from another realm show up! Cross realm zones is a stupid lazy way of fixing the problem of dead servers!

OMG!! I just got him! I gave up on the crap server due to all the cross realm campers, logged on to my old server, chatted for a few with some fellow campers that have been there for the past few days, and Aeonaxx spawned right near me not even 10 minutes later.

I was at NW2 and he spawned right on the eastern border of the red overlay circle at about the top of the stonecore entrance height. He was a bit higher than me and flying to him seemed to take forever. Once I landed on him I kept getting "target must be in front of you" no matter which way I positioned myself. Finally my shots worked and he was down in about 10 seconds. My pet didn't spawn so really SS, AS, and CS were the only abilities used. The whelps weren't even a factor. I never dipped below 90% health if even that. For such a long grueling camp the kill experience was over so quickly! In a flash almost!

Holy crap talk about luck and timing! I mean how did I even get that lucky? There were four campers all at the southern spawn points. I was the only one up north.

I feel so free. Like a huge weight is off my shoulders. I'm so glad this camp is done. So glad! And I never have to do it again! Now all I have to say is "Peace out, Deepholm"!

Funny thing, I was having some rare senses earlier today and I was like "...Someone is getting Aeonaxx today."
Cross-server rare senses, I has them. From time to time.

BS is right! I flew out to storm peaks on the crap server just to check it out and it's a mad house! I think medium pop servers are now the new low pop servers. And ty!!

Weirdly enough, I did a bit of camping out in Storm Peaks today and I saw no one. Not a soul. I had a proper look around too. Seemed quiet. Too quiet...

Storm Peaks is now cross realm on Crushridge. There were about 10 people camping TLPD. I just checked Deepholm and it isn't.
