This is my thought to, but I have already lost Aeonaxx once to that. Spawned and I was very quick but there was a person already sitting on top of the spawn point so I couldn't fly there faster then they could just click on him. The only really bad downside with Aeonaxx is Blood Seeker. Blood Seekers visual threshold is low which means NPCScan won't go off unless you sit on top of the spawn points. That in turn means I could just be sitting here for no reason in a 6 hour cool down timer without knowing.

That was my dilemma too. Most of the time I camped between the spawn points but when a lot of campers were there I sat on one. It figures that when he finally showed up he spawned IN BETWEEN two points!

That is odd, according to all the sites he spawns statically at only those points on the NPCScan Overlay. That sucks that he can spawn in between spots as well.

I never read about him spawning outside of the red circles either. But he did for me! Right as I was landing on him I spun my camera to the right so I got a clear shot of where relative to the temple I mounted him. It wasn't until later though that I realized it was in between the two northern most spots. And very high, a little higher than the top of the Stonecore entrance.

Finally, Aeonaxx is down. Spawned at 3:48am, at NW2. Perfect because I was sitting at Stonecore entrance and had to fly quite a way to get to him. Needless to say I was shitting bricks the whole flight. I caught the fight on video, but not the flight to him because I was worried about getting there.

Grats! As for the spawning inbetween spots, I'm sure he doesn't. Overlay is just very, very inaccurate sometimes.

I'm going to agree with Everdeen. It may not correspond to Overlay, but I'd bet more than a few gold it corresponds to Ponderance's maps.

ETA; And huge grats!! Isn't a great feeling to be free of Deepholm. At first I was more psyched about that than the mount, lol!

Yes I am super happy to be done with Deepholm. I even got Jadefang tamed last night LOL.

I found Jadefang too during my camp. Only I killed him/her for the pet! I prefer the purple shale spider.

Yep, I have the same issue. I found myself camping Aeonaxx even in my sleep.

Oh yeah. I never play WoW a good hour or so before I go to sleep if I can help it. o.e I swear, when I was getting ready to start college, I was also pulling over time working on my tanking stuff. I had a dream where I was on my new college's campus on my warrior holding a shield in one hand and my headphones with mic on and I was shouting in vent "HOW DO I TANK COLLEGE? I DIDN'T LOOK UP THE STRAT! Dx"

WoW is the reason I sucked so bad at school. <: I didn't fail, but I didn't do well either. But I'm actually thankful for that, because if I hadn't sucked at school I never would've gone to college and found the thing I love to study most and never would've ended up on my way to university in two weeks time!
