I joined the Vigil on my Charr Ranger, although I admittedly should've joined the Order. Consider she's Ash Legion, Order of Whispers would've fit her better. My Human Ranger joined the Order. I can see why people love Tybalt. XP

Next toon (Which will not be another Ranger. << >>) will join the Priory. Very likely will be an Elementalist.

How does everyone like their characters' personal story lines?

I have a Char in the Blood Legion with Dinky as a pal and a char in the Ash Legion with Maverick as a pal because I wanted to see if picking certain things made a difference. And yeah it does.

I love the story line that I'm guessing came with picking the Legions so I can't wait to see what happens with the choices I picked for the father. My Blood's father is a Flame Shaman while the Ash's father is an honourless gladium.

I love it. My charr ranger is of the Ash Legion and Dinky is her BFF.

So it's come to my attention that we've yet to establish a Petopians guild in GW2. Maybe one of us ingame should start one up?

And don't give me the excuse that ya can't be in more than one guild. Turns out you actually CAN in GW2, but you can only represent (and subsequently see the chat channel of) one guild at any given time. Kind of like how you can learn all the crafting disciplines on any character, but only have 2 active at a time.

In any case, we really should start up a Petopian guild. ^^

As far as I'm concerned, yes you can. Just can't do WvW. XD Also with multiple guilds I -THINK- there may currently be a cap on five guilds per account. I'm not entirely sure on that one.

That's a nice ad. Some of the cgi was a bit meh but it was alright. I will most likely get sick of it like every other ad XD

Meh. I don't see what that has to do with GW2 at all. I wish they would stop using live action in trailers for games. :/

I dunno, it gives me the vibe that they're trying too hard. I dunno. I would've preferred some general, awesome-looking gameplay. But it doesn't matter cause I have the game anyway. xD

Well using live action in games is now a common thing to do nowadays. XD They seemed to becoming a thing this year.

I think it's a trend in ad making. I don't really hate it per say I just prefer game play footage than anything else. I'll get the game someday just want to get the trial first I think.

Went over to a friends place yesterday and he had GW2 playing on his comp, and he let me make a character and try it out. Picked a Charr ranger with a red drake pet, and proceeded to stumble through a few quests, was pretty fun. Going to see about picking myself up a copy tomorrow.

Are there different servers to choose from, and if so what server is everyone on? Since I am a complete noob at the game, lol.

Borderlands 2 was another game that had live action ads for it. That aside, if I didn't know, I'd have had no idea that was an ad for Guild Wars 2 until the very end. At least the Borderlands ads looked like what they were supposed to be advertising.
