Tree method is easy if you're already up there, silly. I've tamed him on 3 hunters and it went off without a hitch.Equeon wrote:Don't do the tree method, it takes forever. Do what I do.
Wait until Banny is near the lake, the one that you kick the baby turtles into.
Fly up to him when he passes by, shoot him once or twice, wait a bit, then disengage into the water. Deterrence to avoid his moonlight, and then freeze trap + tame.
I've probably helped about 10 other hunters get him this way.

... I wish I was kidding. I met one of my favorite raid Pally partners while camping Ban'Thalos in a tree. He was like "Whut you doin?" and I was like "Camping" and we had a party as he tried like... 20 times to get into the tree. Then he did quests. When he came back I was pulling and taming Ban'Thalos. :3
