Not to be Contrary Cathy, but the Horde seem to be racking up an awful lot of badness storyline wise (Although, at least Garrosh stopped at least one out of control general dude, though he does zilch about the plague peeps or the folks being buried alive in South shore), too and it's a bit sad they're moving away from grey areas to 'ARGH HORDE SMASH ALLIANCE SMASH ALSO'. And it's made worse by the fact that most of the story seems to be book and comic only, so those of us who just play the game get little to no background on why the heck this is happening. And I can also understand why Horde players would be upset to be represented by such. I mean, even King Ponytail McHugeChin started shaping up after awhile. Also, they killed Smiling Jim. Those monsters.

Alliance players have every right to go 'wait, wtf', just as Horde players can go "Wait. What. Goshdarnit, Garrosh, have you never heard of Anger Management classes!?" or feel angry at being duped (seriously, our characters just keep falling for these things... You'd think after 8 years, we'd wisen up!). And frankly, nothing was really explained in the scenario. Why the frell WOULD someone up and nuke the town? Why cheese off all the Dalaran wizards? Why are we in a potentially radioactive zone and why does the air taste purple now? Who did Jaina's hair? Is her power level up now? Will we get our wish once we summon the dragon? Can Jaina see why kids love Cinnamon Toast crunch?!

I'll admit that this probably isn't the best place for the discussion. I consider that it's a lousy move on Blizz's part to move all the story to books and comics (I'll be honest - I was kind of upset the scenario was OH HI. HORDE NUKED UR MANS. LOL PUNY ALLIANCE MEET WARLORD ANGRYPANTS WHO IS LITERALLY ANGRY AT EVERYTHING. ESPECIALLY HIS PANTS.). Also, rude players != rude faction.

I can give you a pretty healthy list of horrible and overly aggressive Horde players easily. And I've played on both sides, so I've also got a healthy list of Annoying Alliance(TM).

And also, I think calling people 'it' tends to be rude regardless even if you ignore gender issues. So in the end, I think it's okay to be unhappy with where lore is going and frustrated they moved most of the in game story... off the game. There's people with posterior hats on both factions and quests where you can be one of those people with a posterior hat storyline wise. Frankly, I don't like the way a lot of things are going - what with CRZ and OMG WAAAAAAR and this sort of scenario strikes me as trying too hard to be dramatic without a lot of effort.

Not really cool with the whole "see a Horde gank it" on your 1st post Ban. Also you can't make a raid with a level one, you need to be level 15, unless they changed it recently.

They have, I believe. I know I couldn't and had to level my guy to help someone make a raid.

well, to be fair on that particular one, as Horde players we DO kill the Undead researcher in charge of those particularly heinous experiments. so can't say that Horde stand by idly and let it happen.

I suspect that they are allowing Garosh's actions paint the entire Horde as monsters in preparation for the fact that he will actually be the end-game boss for this expack. At a certain point, the Horde has to get tired of this and fight back too. We have to have a reason to want to kill him.

I've played through some Alliance quests, and I can't say that the Alliance are entirely blameless in the world either. Ask the Defias who had their lands taken from them. And there are other examples. Both sides share some pretty awful acts.

It doesn't justify referring to other players, members of this forum as "it".

And seeing the ganking and such that I've seen from horde hunters lately, you aren't scoring points there either.

Please don't hold the choices of the NPCs against the players of that faction. :/ It's antagonistic and no good can come of it.

I personally feel a good deal of sympathy for the horde players who are stuck being represented by Garrosh.

Ahh... but there's a difference there.

I don't hold the choice of the NPCs against the players of that faction, myself, the way I play they game, I do, in general hold it against the characters of that faction.

Hence my comment.

Yes, there are ways out of that madness, but if I see a hunter character of the other faction against me in a BG, there is no mercy or quarter, after the recent events.

Heck, I still have an Orc hunter. Haven't decided how I will play him. He might go Panda, as I really can't stomach the horde right now.

That quite frankly makes no sense, since you're still attacking the players behind the characters either way. It's as poor behavior as that exhibited in the first post of this thread regarding the opposite faction. Please take it elsewhere. As already stated several times by multiple people of both factions, that attitude isn't welcomed here, regardless of the "justifications."

Well, I'm going to presume you did not read my comments on the Theramore scenario, which are written from a Horde player's perspective. If you wanted to discuss in-game actions, then discuss them in the appropriate thread.

Whatever my motivations in the game, or rather, my CHARACTER'S motivations, it does not warrant disrespect on the forum.

I've seen as much "ganking" and disrespectful behaviour from inconsiderate Alliance players. Neither side is innocent.

I agree! There's idiotic behavior from people in both factions. I mainly play Horde but my Hunter alt is Alliance and I enjoy playing her and seeing the game from that perspective. I've made friends with Alliance Hunters while on my Horde hunter by helping them with the challenge tames. But I don't mind a bit of faction rivalry as long as it's done in good fun and always remembering that it is an actual person behind the computer regardless of what in game faction they play.

I play on pvp servers and do love world pvp but I am not usually the first one to gank and never will gank another hunter first. Too bad the Alliance hunter who tried to kill me and steal the Humanoid rare I found in the Krasarang Wild's last night didn't share the same POV. She kept coming back for more and I ended up killing her three times :/! My bf came to help and was finally able to kill the rare, the thieving hunter, and all the elites surrounding the rare lol. Despite her interference!! Twenty minutes later I ended up tracking and taming Bloodtooth! Yay!

Killing hunters doesnt give me the same rush as other classes. I'd prefer us all to get along! But anyway, there are jerks on both sides. Neither side has a monopoly on the good guys!

But when it comes to Garrosh everyone agree's he's a terrible leader. I don't know any Horde player who is in his camp. I don't even think there is such a thing as Camp Garrosh, lol. We all hate him and he's about to get what's coming to him!

First this is a hunter forum. Horde/alliance is irrelevant here.

Second, this "clever" method falls into the "exploit" category as far as I can tell. If not its dangerously close. My account, essentially my hunter mean enough to me I wouldn't try it.
