Golden, I've credited you in my blog now. I knew I'd forget people, if you were bummed by me aswell, I'm sorry). Aldo, been quite busy rl, so haven't done anything on the blog recently. Lots of things have happened...Golden wrote:Yeah, I figured that would be the case. *blush* In addition to the fact that I posted it in a different thread. So ultimately it's my own damn fault for being so subtle about it. XDKalliope wrote:Golden! Probably the same reason that I've been bummed out that someone who clearly got their info from this thread got all the credit/hits for "finding" Hexapos and Stompy before finally crediting us.
I (and probably everyone else) must have missed the map because it was only posted as an attachment - and out of sight, out of mind. :/ Sorry about that - I'll add credit, of course!

Clarification:
These new zones will NOT be a part of CRZ correct? (i would hate extra competition for the new rares off the bat)

Ah, congratulations! Did you need to do any quests to see the tracks?

Backwards!
Grabbed Savage on FM at around 3:30Central/1:30AM server. Man, that was painful, intense and interesting. Sorta dreading Pat's camp but at least I herbed when I couldn't find tracks.

Iam so happy

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone on this post for your detailed information regarding the rare pets. I just managed to tame Savage at about 8.00am realm time and there's no way I could have done it without this forum and the info here.
I can also confirm that you follow the tracks backwards still
Thank you everyone!

Nope. I jumped off the boat and ran straight there on lightbringer. Got mine at 12:04 this morning. Took a few seconds for tracks to appear bc of lag though.Novikova wrote:Ah, congratulations! Did you need to do any quests to see the tracks?

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
Ooooooh A big well done to all the MoP rare tames!
After battling the lag I also tamed Savage just a minute ago! Don't have a clue if I'm the first person on the server to have him but certainly one out of the first few! :p I had intended on taming a black tiger but... those blue eyes... and the rare challenge... yeah I just had to tame him. <3 I tamed a black one in the beta but never really gelled with it. :/ maybe when my lvl 50-something Belf can tame a black one. :p
Thankyou everyone who has made this thread possible! Without it and wow-petopia in general I would never have found my new cat or have a possible server first rare tame. Also the experience was so intense! Really brought back the thrill of the hunt when I first started looking for rares. Thanks for bringing that back too!
I was going nuts at my computer though... Found the tracks and followed them... only to remember they go backwards!! I had passed him like 5 times before finally flaring him long enough to tame! Dang lag -.-; He was almost at the end of his path too. Ohh them blue eyes! I have no idea what to name him now though. :3
xD!

How hard is Pat to grab at level? I'm thinking of giving it a go... when I hit 86, mind.

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
Ack, where did the image maps go? They're far easier to check than the video (especially when my ISP is being a massive tool at random--hours of 3-5 second lag anyone?) at the moment. XD
Edit: Found Glimmer's map, found Glimmer!

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
I think i'm just going to wait to hit 90 and get flying. too much annoyance with trying to weave in and out of mobs all the time for Savage at least, trying to find his tracks.
Wish you all good luck on your hunters. I'm leveling a monk to 90 first, so the fancy turtle and savage will have to wait a month or two for me

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
I just popped into Camoflauge whenever I was anywhere near hostile mobs, but I found Glimmer near the south end of his path (first track I saw was on the east side of that road) so I didn't have many to wade through.
