Retiring a toon

Unread post by Hisae »

Mozag! Thank you for the advice about redoing the stable and I'm not anxious abou Farron anymore. Actually, when I went out of town and went to see my sisters, Farron's true origins were revealed! She was NOT made during my first relationship but WAAY earlier! I made her when I really wanted a hunter of my own, and I had named her after my sister's dog, Oiy. So, Farron's original name was Oiyria! I am loving her again and enjoying playing her!

ANYWAY! As the the topic says, after I do Mists with Plua (my gnome mage) I plan to retire her for good and work on a new mage I made. Now, I've tried retiring before but I'm not sure exactly how to make it a complete retire. I know I do NOT wish to delete her (she's my first toon, alot of sentimental value) just need to know what I must do to retire a toon permenantly. I do hope this final topic relating to my characters will be the last of my anxiety and I can focus on Farron, Mayuko (low level NE druid) and the mage waiting in the wings, Yunas Mooncrest.

Thank you everyone!

I am glad to hear that you got something out of my advice. :)
Unfortunately, I know nothing about retiring toons, since I am incapable of leaving any of mine unplayed, but I hope someone here can give you some tips!

Whatever the case, do enjoy MoP, it seems very exciting so far!

Hmm, would it need to be completely retired? Even retired people do stuff :3 How about banking or some professions?
Then again, I don't think I'd ever retire a character I've played a lot.
