Not a White Snake, but a White Tiger. Bonus: Pink bird!

Launch was a bit rough. Several folks on FM felt it was 'totes awesome' to park their mounts on the king. I'm not a fan of King Ponytail McHugeChin, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't deserve to be sat on. With the crowd like it was, I was honestly pretty worried about my chances.

I got onto the flying cannon platform with the angry lady in a hat (Why is everyone this expansion so ANGRY?) and hoped for the best. It was like gyrocopterocalypse out there. Well, I kinda accidentally pressed eject in frustration and promptly went splat. Recovered my body and went on my way (as well as leaving a 10g tip to the spirit healer never to mention this incident to anyone).

Exploring the island was a little rough at first. There were mobs that were hungry for Draenei* and were having none of my 'I'm just looking for the white tiger!' I met lots of orange tigers. They looked cool. But I was on a mission. After installing my 'will brake 4 herbs' license plate on my motorcycle, I was off. Green tea leaves! I freaking love tea.

And then, by that temple gatey thingy... there they were. Bloody tracks. Remarkably free of blood, but green and paw-y they were. After a fox decided to thoroughly examine Novi's knees (with his teeth, as vulpine orthopedic surgeons lack thumbs), I was off on the trail again. It was a lot of false starts, stops, cursing flare's cooldown, crossing my eyes and running up and down that trail like a madwoman - actually, I'm pretty sure the shaman herbing there thought I was a total loon, I FINALLY saw a track spawn along the side of the hill (like, seriously, parkour cat?). I flared just as an orange tiger decided she wanted a spot on When Animals Attack. Fortunately, I had my tame beast glyph and a haste buff on. Taming took about 3 seconds, but it was the most blurred 3 seconds ever. Could've been all the eye crossing. Or my glasses. Whichever. But seriously, after losing the trail a couple of times, countless missed flares and it being 3:30AM my time, my eyes were going crossed.

Nevertheless, after running screaming from a tiger mom (no, the literal sort. She had cub), I finally had the white tiger. He's neat. I got a whisper or two, and I try not to epeen it up, but it is fun to hang out with my new kitty. I feel some guilt that I swapped him in for Sambas, but the whole mane through legs thing kinda was a total turnoff. I loved the skin otherwise, but maybe someday. For now, my stables are on severely limited space (total bummer. I love ALL the animals!).

I'm very happy and grateful I snagged him up. My next target is totally the pink bird. Also, those cricket water striders are freaking adorable. How can everyone in this expansion be so angry with those little dudes? They're zen chirpy charms. We need to release a few around the capitals.



*Totally debating a race change to panda. I guess worst case scenario, I can always just swap back...

I also have a happy update! I got Patrannche with the help of Sylvaeri! Woot. Cosmo is so awesome. He's just fabulously fantastic.
