Healer question

Unread post by Ana »

As i mentioned in another post the hubby and i are gonna make a healer/tank team

I have always played druid as a healer but panda´s cant be druids :( - and the priest is the only other healer i have played so question goes like this... are Priests healers better then monks and shamans? or are the equilivant?

The main reason why i wanted a priest is that i could dualspec as shadow/dics and dont change any gear :p - im sooo lazy and i would only use shadow for soloing :)

I hate healing on my priest-but then I haven't given it more then a few chances... and I'm not normally a healer. Then again my priest is at the level where she is a shadow going up against a ton of undead in instances, so she is just pissing me off in general with her 'low' DPS....

Shammy healing is pretty easy, and the switch over to elemental to DPS feels pretty natural. I don't think you even have to worry about gear when you do so. I adore my shammy. :)

what about mogging? healer wise i could imagine that there would be more sets which would fit a female panda as cloth then mail (shaman) or leather (monk) ?

would love some suggestions on what look good on a panda. Fluffykin is a red panda :D

I may be a little late to answer your question, but here goes. As far as the healing goes at this moment in heroic blues i know priests especially holy priests are having a bit of issues where mana is concerned. As well as shamans, but Shamans seem to be in a good place this expac so far. Mistweaver monks are just beastly, fantastic mana regen and excellent aoe as well as tank heals. Druids i am not sure of, they have always been great healers and i'd imagine that they will continue to be. And if you were asking just in general "who is the better healer" I have to be vague and say that it really does just depend on how you play, or what you would be comfortable doing. Druids are fantastic aoe healers as well as holy priests and mistweaver monks. Shamans are not too bad but they are better for keeping the tanks topped off with some minor aoe. Disc priests remain kings of tank healing, and if you know how to do it they are just perfect to avoid raid damage. Holy paladins are good as well, being a decent aoe healer as well as a strong tank heals as well. Hope that helps!
