So's a #$%^load of other stuff in game. Don't be so nitpicky, it makes us all look bad.Kalliope wrote:O_OWykea wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sweVRBeJ0LkKalliope wrote:Something else that cropped up with the goat emotes is that scratching any body part with their horns seems....awkward, if not physically impossible.

Cannot unsee.
Still, his horns are longer than the WoW goats' horns - still physically impossible.
No need to get hostile. I'm just suggesting that that single emote be altered to be slightly less awkward with respect to the in-game goats.Wykea wrote:So's a #$%^load of other stuff in game. Don't be so nitpicky, it makes us all look bad.

Rest in peace mum. I really did love and miss you, even if I never got to see you.
I, too, thought this emote was a bit too much of a stretch for my own comfort. I just forgot to mention it in my own post. I don't think having or voicing a reasonable opinion makes anyone look bad, particularly when feedback was specifically requested.Kalliope wrote:No need to get hostile. I got the one from Kalliope's post, version 1.8.1 and I had to change the names of the files after pasting in the newer custom files from this thread. I had to change the default files to .bak files and rename the custom ones to default. Without doing that, none of the new families like Quilens, Cranes, etc. would work. Even typing /pe random would not do anything.Varethyn wrote:Do be sure to check which version of PetEmote you have; Jorna's old addon is still on Curse alongside Efindel's updated one. Make sure you're using Efindel's.

I tried an older version and it didn't work at all. Version 1.8.1 works fine but to get the new families I had to change the custom files to default by renaming them.TygerDarkstorm wrote:I've been using a fairly old version of PetEmote with no issues. I may not have the emotes for the newer pet families, but compared to the reports I've seen with issues for the new one, I'm okay with sacrificing that for a working addon. xD

You can still download the custom files for the new families without using the updated PetEmote from Curse you knowTygerDarkstorm wrote:I've been using a fairly old version of PetEmote with no issues. Kasky, I know you posted this over a year ago, but I wanted to say how much I love it. Back when Jorna was still hosting the addon on her own site I wrote a bunch of English emotes for it, including the one in which a spider attaches a strand of silk to you before going off to search for food. Seeing it illustrated really made my day.Kasky wrote:I was bored so...liek dis? =3Jessibelle wrote:May I second this? ...Now I want to see a drawing of that emote. >_>
It's almost like they're saying "This is my mistress. There are many like her but this one is mine."
I cheated...but I don't care cause I can't draw with a mouse

Edit- I like my second one a bit betterBrb, going to play with my hunter who has a spider pet.
I would say they won't. I had never used PetEmote until a few days ago and the first download I tried was the last one from the original author. It wouldn't work at all for any pets. I then got 1.8.1 and it worked but not for the new families. As I have said before, I had to dump the default files and get the latest custom ones from this thread and rename them to default to get everything working.TygerDarkstorm wrote:Oh cool, I wasn't sure if the newly added emotes would work with my older version.
