We need them.

We have the wasps, which are close, but they all look like (and often ARE) flying silithids and/or weird firefly/hornet crossbreeds.

Why don't we have proper striped buzzy bees? I mean, we've got those ridiculous caterpillars, so having huge bees would be no stranger.

Heck, why not go further, and have a tamable swarm of bees that act like one creature? There are mobs in a corner of WPL that's a swarm of floaty skulls, so we know it can be done. So why not do it?

Besides, wouldn't it be lovely to hear your enemies all screaming and flailing around, yelling out in panic "HELP, I'M COVERED IN BEES!"
