You know what would be awesome? A new dungeon... Silvermoon Dead Scar. That closed off, sealed up run through the center of Silvermoon. What atrocities lay lurking within those ruins just waiting to run rampage through the streets of Silvermoon? I think that would be awesome.

You know what else? Ragefire Chasm. The lore should reflect all the demons and cultists and troggs were slagged, which has given rise to crazy fire elementals that want to destroy Orgrimmar from within now that Ragnaros is back and cranky.

I really hope they've advanced the story for a number of dungeons. I wonder how many, if any, dungeons will be retired even

Tbh I figure the most would be those in Black Rock Mountain understandably- Gnomer, RFC and WC. A few others. I mean Cata is changing everything so dungeons are probably changing too and quests/quest lines/quest mobs.

But as for raid-raids? I'd take a guess and possibly say at most maybe also C'thun? I mean he is a god. Old god crap is being messed with. I'll buy we killed Arthas as he was mortal and an insane idiot.

But gods are gods are gods- the titans couldn't/wouldn't destroy them because destroying them would evidently mess crap up more than them being alive. So C'thun and Yogg still have to be alive.

I mean really, 40 people downing a creature not even a titan could destroy permanently/chain up permanently? And then there's those bones. Revealed to be what look like faceless; again hinting at possibility of C'thun coming back into power as well as a third old god.

Kinda wondering if blizz is setting us up for litteral end game content ._.

I think he means the scarred part of Silvermoon, the actual city. Between the Blood Elf 4-5 area and the actual city.

It would make a really neat RFC alternative. Blizz take note!

And Ragnaros under Org? That'd be wicked.

Garrosh has it all blocked off, "WE GOT THIS GAIZ" and you're seeing fire eruptions, charred orc/tauren/troll bodies flying around...

Belves/undead: "You sure...?"

Garrosh: "I IZ."

*12 orcs fly by, one landing at Garrosh's feet, only his top half and one arm left, "Warchief... send... heeeellllpppp..." *dies*

Garrosh: "..."

Belves/undead: "..."

Garrosh: "WE GOT THIS."

I love her undead model for Cata! She can come back as many times as she likes so long as she comes back with a nice little Undead Ony drake mount. ;D

Edit: Looking at Mmo-champ I noticed this. http://db.mmo-champion.com/s/78619/
Undead Ony/Nefy fight inc? I wonder how Nefarion would(will?) look as an undead dragon. =)

Dear Blizz,

Onyxia. Onyxia Mount. Undead Onyxia. Undead Onyxia Mount. It's a logical progression.
Make Nef drop a normal and undead mount version of himself and you have my life and my wallet for the next few years.

Are you talking about the Master's Glaive in Darkshore? I'm really excited about that, I've been wondering about that for a very loooong time! Also, supposedly there's another old god west of Undercity? I think these guys are fascinating...and I agree too, it's a little absurd to think a god that not even the titans could beat could be wiped out by 40 silly mortals. C'thun needs a comeback :D

C'Thun is getting a comeback. At least lorewise. Some comic-book Ogre resurrected him.

At least I think so.

But how is it exactly that we would be able to KILL him when the titans had the ability to, but doing so would have ruined the world? Wouldn't us killing him inherently lead to our own destruction?

That's why I'm puzzled. At best we'd only be able to subdue/rechain him, not...kill him.

Basically it's like this.

40 people survive C'thun's lazor eye and tentacles. Knock him into a coma.

Yogg gloats over her brother's failure, terrorizes Northrend, the lich king, you and me.

Gets knocked out by 25 people.

C'thun wakes up from coma.

C'thun laff at Yogg.

C'thun gets knocked out again.

>_>

mean not like we can kill bloody gods here.

yeah i read that somewhere too, the Titans didn't outright destroy the Old Gods because the OGs are connected to the Azeroth in such a fashion that if they die, then the world does to. I can't recall why, but I'd bet wowwiki.com would know.

I can totally see Garrosh ending up a raid boss one day, that will be one busy busy raid, everyone will want a piece of him heh

The Old Gods and Elementals can't be killed in the physical plane, since their 'physical bodies' in Azeroth are basically just shells they use to interact with our physical dimension. Just like how Hakkar's spirit was summoned into a body by the Gurubashi -- killing the shell sends them back into the nether and they lose any ability to influence our physical world (which is a good thing by itself), but they don't truly 'die'.

Perhaps we could 'truly' kill an elemental lord or a god by killing their true form on their own plane, but actually getting into another dimension tends to be the hard part of that plan. It takes a lot of work, spells, and sacrifices by their own worshipers to even bring them into 'our' world in the first place, so it would take serious magic to send folks from our dimension into theirs. One thing about Cataclysm is that it looks like we'll actually be able to get into the Elemental Planes for the first time, which should mean there might be a good chance that we'll be permanently killing Ragnaros, etc. this time around.
