I know on my server, Argent Dawn, there's an Alliance guild who tries to sell Galleon kills to cross server groups. If a Horde raid tags him, the Alliance PvP flag and try to get the Hordies flagged so they can kill 'em and cause a wipe. Fortunately, the raids I've been in on him made a note to be very careful with targeting and took Galleon down, then turned on the Alliance and camped 'em til they finally waited out their flags.

There were even more bones on the ground after that than in the pic above.

I had a strange experience with a Galleon spawn:

Galleon spawned, and General had one guy advertising for a group. I ask to join, and I get in a group still forming. I go to Galleon and wait.
We see someone pull him, but he is tagged gray? I looked at his target to see this was someone not in our raid group. Well, OK, I think, someone kind of jumped the gun and didn't ask for an invite yet.
The guy forming our group spams over the /rw DON'T HELP THEM. DON'T HELP THEM. It's evident now that there's actually a second formed Horde group attacking Galleon. Really?

And then that leader leaves our group, and we start to boggle. And more people leave, as evident that now they just want invites to the second group.
I see the following conversation in General Chat:

Person from my now-obviously-failed group: Pls invite
Person who has initially formed our group: sry we're full

...Wait, so let me get this straight. Some guy formed a group, then noticed that there was another group who managed to pull first, successfully left the group HE STARTED, and joined the new one successfully?
Or, perhaps, was he already going to always be in that successful group, and left to form a SECOND GROUP as a DECOY to KEEP PEOPLE FROM SPAMMING GENERAL FOR INVITES?

That second reason makes no sense but when I consider the context of HOW TERRIBLE MY SERVER'S COMMUNITY IS EVEN WITHIN ONE FACTION I really wouldn't be surprised.

So yeah, this boss is just making some really bizarre things happen. :/

Honestly, it really does seem to bring the worst out of people. If someone from the tag group joins the second group, they can share the tag.

Well that's...kind of really dumb, because anyone who isn't from the home server won't get loot from the boss. They hotfixed that in a week or two after launch.

I have groups on my realm that try to sell you a slot in a camping group and they just sit there for hours ready to tag it. Never seen one actually work out. They have only predicted his spawn correctly once so far and they didn’t even get the tag. I will tell you what though, when he shows up general chat explodes. Everyone franticly screaming for invites, making troll groups and going trade chat on the world. So much nerd rage. I was lucky enough to be looking for the pink crane and was right up against his spawn point and got in a group right away. The group was about 1/3rd full when I got in and I kid you not, by the time I told my guild who to whisper the group was full and already fighting him.
So hectic! @.@

Also do we know if blizz wanted us to be able to tag, leave group, inv another player and have them tag, ect, ect so that anyone who joined the group and left would get loot too?

Something like this actually happened to us last night. We had a full group together. Were summoning the stragglers. And then a group of 5 people from a guild land and tag him the yell "LFM FOR GALLEON" -_- They do this with the darkmoon rabbit too and this is the 2nd time I've seen it happen. Always the same 5 people
