A much belated update of my adventures through Unova in Black 2.
So, I've beaten Skyla and I've gone through over to that resort town whose name escapes me at the moment. It's been interesting to see what's been changed and what's been left the same. Also enjoying a number of the little distractions that have been thrown at me so far (Pokewood!)

My team has... changed little really. XD I've been rather picky with whom I've been training, trying to find the perfect match for this team. So far all I've settled on is:
Shuren the Samurott (Surprised with how much I've been enjoying him. Last time I tried a Samurott, he ended up feeling... not fun. Shuren is much the opposite)
Cavalier the Arcane (Only just evolved now that he has flare blitz. Keeping him a growlithe for so long was a pain <_>)
Orchid the Leavanny (She just absolutely wrecks things and I love her for it. <3 Shame she's a bit fo a glass cannon)
And Tempest the Therian Forme Tornadus (Likely only temporary. He's been fun, and I love the new therian formes, but I'd like to try out another flier when I can)

As much as I've been wanting to do this blind so to better give pokemon I'd otherwise dismiss a chance to become part of my team, those two empty spots (possibly three) are starting to bug me. Once again, nothing I've caught so far has felt right with this team, and I've been wanting to sneak peeks at what lies ahead. I have a Skarmory I'm tempted to use in replacement of Tempest, and I'm thinking of maybe picking up a Toxicroak when I get the chance.

I love the game, I really need to play it more...I am STILL running around the sewers leveling my Therian form beasts up. Finally got all 3 of them. My Oshowatt evolved into Dewott, Riolu into Lucario, and my Purrlion into Liepard, Tordadus is lv 20, and that just leaves the other two to level up. then I will get back to actually playing the story through, lol.

In completely another news, I'm still chipping away at Black 2. I've by now caught Cobalion (Vercifer) and Virizion (Alabast). I've hit Opelucid and Drayden appears to be higher level teams than I would have assumed--I figured he'd be low to mid 40s, he appears he'll be mid to high 40s, so I'm grinding up my team for now on Route 9. I still have no clue really what to put in my sixth slot--I may just hold out until I can encounter the dragons and catch one of them, even though I have my flygon and I'm not really sure I want to do that. I may just have my team of 5. I dunno. Maybe I'll fall in love with one of the Musketeers and take one of them as my team (Pfft, unlikely. Not really a fan of any of them. That's Senna's shtick.) Either way, I'll figure it out.

Despite all of that, the team thus far is doing really well. I'm amused since they're all ladies, normally I'd have at least one dude on my team, but nope. Turns out my Floatzel was destined to be a lady. They're all hard hitters, not one of 'em is really tanky, except maybe Req and Angie. But regardless, Sparrow has done far better than most people give flareons credit for. Ergo, the team thus far:

Angela the Serperior, level 45 (I have always loved Serperiors. Angie has yet to let me down.)
Requiem the Flygon, level 49 (Req had some growing pains as a vibrava, but now she's a flygon, she's done beautifully. I only ask that her dragon claws OHKO more, but I can prolly fix that with a proper item.)
Sparrow the Flareon, level 46 (The flareon no one had expectations for. This eevee gave me a crapton of trouble trying to find her, but she was worth it. She's been one of my favorites, and if I ever am in a pinch, Sparrow usually drags me out.)
Kaylee the Floatzel, level 46 (Another pokemon who was a royal pain to find. Buizels can be found in a tiny patch of water in Lostlorn. Kaylee the first had one of the worst possible natures ever for her--Calm. Kaylee the second, this one, had the best possible--adamant. Kaylee, like her namesake, is incredibly kickass.)
Liora the Absol, level 43 (The newest member of the team, I have yet to let Liora properly throw herself into the fray. I have high hopes for her, though. Never used one, but hey. They have to be awesome, right? Most of the people I RP with have one, anyways.)

Edit: So now I'm considering anything between mienshao, zangoose, seviper, maybe ampharos...

at this point I might as well just copy Senna's team. ><;

A psychic type of some sort may be worth investing in Azu, as your team currently has nothing effective against fighting types. If you can breed, perhaps an Espeon, or a Gardevoir? I'm not sure what Psychic types are in Gen 5, but maybe they'll be easier to obtain.

So, I have not gotten far in Black at all (spending most of my time in WoW XD). I only just hit Castelia city and so far my team consists of:

Lambert the Flaafy
Lutra the Oshawatt (yeah. I still haven't gotten her to evolve yet)
Airen the Drifloon (woo Dream Finder!)
Triss the Riolu
Singer the Sewaddle (who is awesomesauce. Just need to get her evolved)
Bishop the Growlithe

So, I'm lagging waaaaaayyy behind everyone else. This time around my team is mostly females while in White it was mostly males. Go figure XD Maybe I'll make some headway tonight and tomorrow and sort of catch up to the rest of you >_>

Finally got around to getting my 3rd gym badge...Funny how leveling gets A LOT faster when you remember shaking grass and Audino exp boosts!

Now just running around the desert finding items, battling everyone and seeing how my team works together. Tornadus took out the gym leader without breaking a sweat, along with every trainers pokemon, I live my pure flying green cloud bird XD Though, he does need a new name, I am not that fond of Djinn...Plus his brothers need names to,

Gim: Yeah, learned that the hard way today. I battled a friend for shit and giggles today and his heracross completely blew my team to shreds. I had pretty much everything set and covered, but I didn't have a flying type move that would have ended him. So I'm thinking I'll try to find a flying type I like and add that to replace Zander the zangoose, who is squishy as hell and I already have a really squishy sweeper (Liora).

Dunno what I'll pick though.

I've been playing Black 2 on and off and finally decided it was time to go take on Elesa. My team is so far...

Zeus - Lv. 26 Jolteon.
Caspian - Lv. 27 Dewott.
Vulcan - Lv. 27 Flareon.
Runi - Lv. 27 Lucario
Scruffy - Lv. 28 Herdier.

Vulcan one-shot her Zebstrika with a Fire Fang crit. ._. I took down her other two easily with Scruffy. Oh... If you're wondering how I outsped a Zebstrika... She had just swapped her Emolga with Volt Switch. << >>

So! Probably should have updated about half a week ago, but I, um, got a little bit distracted. XD

SO I BEAT BLACK 2. On, uh... When was it? *Looks* ..Um. On Thursday. So maybe I should have updated nearly a week ago is more accurate.

It was.. An interesting end of the game, to say the least. Giant Chasm was a very interesting little adventure. Ghetsis was as annoying to fight as ever, though I will admit, the Pokemon of his that gave me the most trouble was SEISMITOAD, believe it or not. His Hydreigon was EASILY facerolled by my Serperior. XD As for Black Kyurem? Well, it stood no chance against my Volcarona. Because he is badass.

Seeing N was ALL SORTS OF AWESOME I WAS SO EXCITED AND EEEEEE N <3

Aaand then Victory Road was a royal PAIN IN THE ASS.

The Pokemon League was.. Actually a little bit, um, easy? Sort of? Well, the Elite Four didn't give me.. TOO much trouble. Champion on the other hand? Well, that.. Is a little bit different. Her entire team, barring Haxorus, waaaas for the most part EASY. That Haxorus, though. Dear ARCEUS, that thing was terrifying. Luckily, in true Serperior fashion, Alessandra managed to deal with it. She has this habit of dealing with almost every single REALLY SCARY dragon in this game. From Drayden's Haxorus, to Ghetsis' Hydreigon, and then to Iris' Haxorus. This Serperior is just plain awesome. <3

My team.. Has not changed one bit from the last time I updated, either. Still the same awesome bunch. <3

Alessandra the Serperior (I think Alessa is probably one of my favourite starters out of all my games. Sure, in SoulSilver, Taronga was.. Pretty dang awesome, even if I didn't use her for a little bit after beating the Pokemon League. And even if she's easily the most, well, useless of that team. XD And while in Black, Lyell has ALWAYS been pretty amazing (He's good at fighting Dragons too! Cynthia's Garchomp NEVER stands a chance against Lyell. <3), I'm almost willing to say Alessandra has proven the most useful out of this team. Usually my starters get left behind in the wake of something else (..Usually a Legendary. Blame my habit of using minor Legends on my teams.), so they end up being.. Not the most useful things. Yet Alessa is one Pokemon on this team I can almost ALWAYS count on to get me out to stupid situations. <3)
Emi the Flygon (While she's not AS amazing as I'd, I dunno.. Like her? I LOVE this Flygon. I really do. I always end up loving my Flygons whenever I use them. And oddly, Flygon is one Pokemon I can use a LOT. For teams, I usually try to avoid using a species that I've used in a different game.. and yet.. In Platinum, there's Chronizera (Who, fun fact, was the first Pokemon I EVER trained to level 100 in my main, non-PMD games. Ever. <3), in Emerald there's Yache, and in Black 2, there's Emi. And I love them all. <3)
Aphelion the Volcarona (Not much to say about this guy other than... Holy CRAP does he just rock. He really does have a habit of facerolling stuff sometimes. <3)
Grace the Floatzel (Sadly, I think that Grace might be the least useful out of this entire team. She's awesome, and adorable, as Floatzel usually are.. But... I dunno. She really seems to sometimes fail at doing, well, anything.)
Romeo the Seviper (Pfft I love this guy! He may have crappy speed and defenses, but he's STILL pretty amazing. I love this silly snake. <3)
Jules the Zangoose (EASILY the MVP of this team. XD Holy crap does this little Zangoose just MURDER stuff. He may have terrible defense, and he may not be able to outspeed everything, but he just WRECKS FACE if he can actually hit stuff. Turns out he has a full 31 IVs in Attack, too. XD And really. He has Facade, which is powered up by, well, the fact that he get STAB from it, the fact that he's almost always Poisoned, AND the fact that his ability raises his attack WHEN HE'S POISONED? Combine that which his naturally high attack, being a Zangoose, and full IVs in attack? YEAH THAT IS A VERY SCARY ATTACK.)


And after I beat the game? Went straight to the Pokemon World Tournament. And fought my way through the Unova Leaders Tournament so I could unlock the others. I had a lot of fun with it, by the way. Fighting the Hoenn Leaders? OH GOD IT WAS SO AMAZING. Keep in mind, Emerald was my first non-PMD game, so.. The Hoenn Gym Leaders are pretty special to me. <3 Even if in the end of that tournament, I got royally facerolled by Winona. XD Which.. Was a trend that carried over to the Johto Leaders Tournament, too, since, well, I got promptly facerolled by Falkner too. XD Apparently birds are a BIT of a problem for me! But after a bit of trial and error with the Johto Leaders Tournament, I finally managed to end up fighting Morty, who as some might know, is my favourite Gym Leader of all time. <3 ....And fittingly, I got absolutely trolled by his Sableye. XD There was absolutely NOTHING I could have done to beat that little thing! XD It was terrible! But I didn't mind THAT much, since I was beaten by my favourite Gym Leader. And if I remember correctly, if I had won that battle, I would have been up against either Clair, Whitney or Falkner, and well.. I probably would have just ragequit had I gotten facerolled by any of them instead. XD


On a different note, I already am making tentative plans for a new Battle Subway/PWT team! (Or maybe just Battle Subway. I may do this in Black, and not Black 2.) ..Which I am still trying to figure the hell out. I only know for a fact that I'll have a Braviary and Scizor on it. XD (And yes Azu. I know what you're thinking, so shush! XD Don't you dare comment on it! Also how much you willing to bet that like, only Azu will actually be able to guess what the hell I'm doing with this team.)
