Questions about paid char transfer

1) When you pay for a paid char transfer can you change your race/faction at the same time or do you have to pay extra for that

2) if you can change your faction does it come with a free name change (incase the name u got isnt taken) or do you have to pay extra/ make a char with the name in order to get a new name?

1. No, those have to be paid separately.
2. If you go to a new server and faction change, yes. You get a free name change.

ahh oki.. boo then i have to save up rl money for a paid char tansfer and a faction change

No problem. I only know cause I once transferred Jet over to Horde and to a new server.

I've done the paid character faction/server transfer a few times now. Just to make sure, I've always made a character on the new server with the name of the one I'm transferring just so that, once transferred, my toon will be flagged for a rename. For instance, I just transferred a worgen named Rensis to being a blood elf named Jaeren on another server, so I made a level one on that server named Rensis so that his name will be taken. I probably don't have to do that, but I still do! XD

Well. You can pay for them at the same time, too. So the 55 bucks (or whatever it is for you) combined up front. Just be forewarned, the faction xfer is STILL bugged. I just moved my mage last week and when I named her the name I wanted for her to have, it flagged her for another rename. I had to either submit a ticket (which I didn't want to wait for), or buy another name change on top of it just to get on and play my character. :/ So be prepared to handle that.

Yeah, I've had that happen twice now. The second time it was resolved quickly. The first time it was stuck like that for a week.

If you want to be sure to get a new name, make a level 1 toon first on the destined server with your current toons name.

If you want to be sure to get a new name, make a level 1 toon first on the destined server with your current toons name.

But just hoped that i could get an all included transfer .. Not sure my druid will be going hordie now... alot of money when you dont have any
