Do Priests Get a CombatPet in the xpac?

I like the wow cards so I visit the blog on the manufactures site now and then to see previews for the newest ones to see if I want to get some packs,but today's preview was a bit odd.

I did not read the priest updates on moves for the xpac as I play a druid and hunter so can anyone tell me if they are getting a combat pet like this?

Weird, usually the little icon at the top indicates what class has the ability. Maybe its form a raid boss or something.

I think I read somewhere they're getting some kind of pet that kinda acts like a combat pet, at least for healing priests... something like that... ?

The paladin gets a guardian that will last for 30 seconds. For holy it will heal things near by, ret maybe dose damage and the prot version will be a damage absorption thing...I think. Its been a while since I looked at the class updates. The visual of the spell will be something akin to WC3 paladin guardians, since I never played that game I have no idea what that will be. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I couldn't find anything on photo bucket and Hun doesn't recall anything like that.

Mm. Paladins are supposedly getting a combat pet in Cata. And, by 'guardian' I believe that the spell is supposed to look like the paladin's Rez in WC3. In which case, it'll be a sort of avenging angel made of Light.

You got it. Paladins get a thirty second combat pet that does something to support the current spec. Holy heals, retribution deals damage, and protection aborbs damage. And Kryte is correct about the looks, as well.
