Stable problems
Ok, I have come to accept that I cannot "tame them all" so I need to adjust my viewing of my stables. I am hoping to find some advice, suggestions etc...from you all. My first hunter is a level 90 female blood elf named Shadowkatt. (ya i am a comic geek). All of her pets have comic based names. My baby hunter is a panda girl named Minniemae, an anime reference. I need a plan for their stables, please help

Re: Stable problems
What's worked for me is a firm rule of having only one pet per family at a time (except for short-term temporary situations). If I miss a pet I released, I'll re-tame it later. (I seem to always be switching out my spiders, as there are so many lovely ones!)

Re: Stable problems
At the end of Cata I had two level 85 hunters (blood elf and human) who both had all 9 spirit beasts. I've since released some of them since some rarely got used. I had a hard time bonding with Ghostcrawler, and Gondria and Ankha were the same skin as my favorite of the three, Magria. That opened up a few more slots. I got rid of Lord Kri because his *thump* noise kept driving me nuts. In the end it was just taking a step back and realizing which pets I actually use and which were just around because of what they are.
That said-- I still have my oil-stained wolf and flaming piggy. I don't use them as often as I should, but since they can no longer be tamed I thought it would be a good thing to keep!

Re: Stable problems
I have three hunters with too many overlapping spirit beasts and the odd spider or scorpid. Considering a fourth but that's much later down the line with all my other alts to level up first. I've decided to figure out which pets best fit each hunter. Think of how you want your hunter to be, their personality and decide what pets best fit that. You don't want cute and cuddily for a Worgen with a nasty disposition just as you wouldn't want mean and nasty for a bubbly, happy-go-lucky Pandaren.

Re: Stable problems
Thanks for the suggestions, I made a list of all the buff's so I'm going to try and make sure I have a representative for each grouping. I think my panda is going with soft colors, pastels and such..the cotton candy colored basilisk is going to be perfect
. Katt is harder, I view her as a little more serious, and thinking, so I want her pets to reflect that. I did decided that out of her stable the only three I cannot get rid of are Northstar (Loq), Mystique (Blue Portent), and Ensabahnur (blue madexx). I really like Impulse (Pat) but his color seems to clash with the other 3 and he's a bit silly
.
