Well since I just did an entry for my newest hunter I figured I should do one for my main that I introduced on the introduction thread. I will also like to say thank you to Petopia which I have used since nearly day one of my hunter turning level 10 way back in 2008 because back then you did not get a pet till that level and that was how I first saw the first rare I would tame the Strider Clutchmother. I remember I wanted that for my first rare and I was working on rep for getting a Night Saber mount because I really wanted one of those as a dwarf, why, just because I wanted one.
So I will introduce my first five in my stable, there are two new rares from Pandaria, two of my oldest one Kalimdor and one from the Eastern Kingdoms and rounding out my top five is one you can not get any longer but maybe they will open up the family one day (I would like to get the two orange ones).
So first my oldest pet who I have fond memories of as one of my favorite personal pets that was also one of the first ones I raised, Brachypelma. I had a beautiful female Mexican Red-Knee tarantula that I raised from a spiderling to an adult and she was gorgeous.

I remember how most of my guild at the time was creeped out by my big orange fuzzy girl.
So next up is my second oldest in my stable and my first exotic Zelus Nugax (an assassin bug) from a rare in Thousand Needles. He is very rambunctious and hardly ever stands still, just wish I could find his ultramarine brother.

Thirdly will be Chiindii (chindesaurus a theropod dinosaur where chinde comes from chiindii Navajo for ghost) my ghost hydra from back in the day of getting rep for the Oracle in Sholazar Basin. I also had the big wasp but then Blizzard fixed her so she was the same size as other ones so I released her back into the wild. I really like Chiindii he is a little loud and he can not seem to get along with himself but there is just something about him that says what I don't know but I like him.

Now on too my last two which are very recent additions to my stable. Both of which I have because of Kelliope and her wonderful vid's, thanks Kelliope may you always find water and shade.
Xi Fang Bai Hu is the White Tiger of the West one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. I found Savages' tracks 3 times before I finally got a good location to tame him. I was on my ten day MoP trial so I was only 85 so I am fairly proud of getting both of the rares from the Jade Forest at equal level and no flying. Well my Talbuks need a good run they were getting restless.

Gerris (a genus of water striders) was also a really fun one to find I stalked around and found a likely spot to wait to watch for tracks and with a little patience (cue GnR) I saw his tracks, I flared and flared again and saw... holy cow he was huge, lost him, looked all over but saw that it was near the end/beginning of his patrol so I returned to my stake out location and waited patiently again and was rewarded about 15 minutes or so later with my new fishing buddy Gerris (love the water walking with no potions).

Well that is my first five. I will do another five every couple of days until I get to the last three, I have two open spots that I am wondering what I will chose to befriend, have to start looking at the new ones that are coming. Good Luck to all and Happy Hunting
