I've been a bit screenshot happy lately.....

I got this jaguar a few nights ago and totally love him. I had my doubts about his special skill, Stalk, but it's turned out to be pretty cool. Little bugger gets some massive crits. I flip-flopped on his name a couple times between Griever, Reaver and Phantom, but I just couldn't stop coming back to Griever.



I got this adorable little thing tonight. I knew I wanted one since I had seen someone else with one and loved how it looked, but wasn't sure where they were. I happened to go into a random zone tonight and happened to go in a cave that happened to have them, and I think I squeed out loud. I don't know why, but this one wanted to be female (because she's so pwecious!) and the name Lola almost immediately came to mind, so this is little Lola. :3 I wuv her!





I don't know what the deal is with this old broad, but she totally freaked me out holding that giant knife with that horrifying expression upon her face. When you talk to her, she seems all sweet and jovial, but deep down she's a freakin' murderer! I just know it!



Almost forgot this one! I love this vista so much I made it my desktop background.

This is Forsaken Fortune, a group event area that is a mini dungeon/jumping puzzle in the dark. Not pictured: me being dead.

I put a new outfit together today for Sevryn, so naturally I have to take a billion screenshots of him and post them here. He's so hot (IMO). :3










This loading screen was a bit creepy, but there was just something about it that I really liked.

A crane! It was untargetable and pretty poorly textured (although that might be because I have to play at the lowest settings due to my old laptop) but I thought it was a neat touch.


Saamid looking awesome even when forced to disguise himself as an ordinary worker. The blue and yellow really matches with his eyes.


Juvenile Reef Drake, the new pet found at Southsun Cove. Go get it now while the zone levels you up to 80 otherwise you might have to wait until 80 to get it. I named mine Chatturgha, from the red god in Eternal Darkness. I already named my blue jellyfish Ulyaoth so that's why I thought of the name. Was just taking some basic "stand here and let me show you off" pet screenshots when this sparkfly flew above his head and he looked up at it like he wanted to eat it, heh.


Since the patch NPCs also hide their helms in cutscenes, which makes some look odd without their helms. Even Kudu here notices something off about Zojja not wearing her helm.

For the weekend of November 16th, Southsun Cove will have a sidekick system in place that scales players level up to 80. After the Lost Shores event weekend, the area will become a level 80 zone.

Which means it's likely permanent.

No, the lvl 80 bit is temp the zone is perm. Which is what I was trying to say.

Where are they located? I was all over that zone last night and didn't see a single juvenile one. I really want one.

they were inside a cave along the beach north of one of the island settlements, can't remember the name though x.x

Take the boat from Lion's Arch. Choose the second choice on where you want the boat to go too. Walk south along the beach, once you reach the way south of the beach follow it north and there will be a cave on the right with a bunch of juveniles.

The wiki has a map on their area now (didn't have a picture when I went looking for them earlier).

The zone is permanent, but for the event it up levels you to 80 so everyone can explore the zone and do the event. Afterwards you will need to be level 80.

Well, I did end up finding one after dying about three times. Those darn level 80 reef drakes were laying the smackdown on me. Anyway, at first I wasn't too sure about them because they seemed too chameleon-ish, but the more I look at him, the more I like him. I had already picked out the name Titan for whenever I finally found a drake I liked (the marsh drake didn't appeal to me with its bug-eyes, the salamander drake is pretty much identical to the marsh drake, the river drake reminds me of a derpy toad - the ice drake is the only decent-looking one IMO), but the line, "The tyrant's return to the sea," from Nightwish's song A Return to the Sea was stuck in my head. So, I named him Tyrant. It sounds close enough to my original choice. Plus, the actual mobs are from the sea.








In this one, I happened to take a screen shot when a new NPC was loading, so it looks like I'm the only one there. I dunno, it just amused me.
