He still is. There is NO other dark blue lightning wolf except Skoll. Unless there's another dark blue lightning wolf we don't know about, Skoll is still unique. Skoll even has more spectral worg noises rather than normal ones.

Hit 90 last night. Log on this morning to find Portent. It's the green one, the one I want! Another hunter beats me to hitting the tame button.

Ahhhhh well. There will be more Portents.

First time I've had this happen, hopefully the last. Been looking for Loque off and on (I rerolled on a new sever as Bloodhoof is dead). Between high pop and crz it's been a mess of near misses and corpses. Found him today, just sitting there for me. Tame was at one second, and Ghostcrawler called himself magically to my aid and nearly one-shot him. Except I didn't realize I had a pet out (because I didn't), no bars appeared, no pet plate, and it looked like druid debuffs, so I finished the kill myself for Frostbitten, only to see a thoroughly-pleased-with-himself crab come scuttling back. Which is right around the time all of the pet bars appeared. Which is right around the time I had a massive sad.

The boyfriend told me that it was probably lucky, because GC might have been auto abandoned in the midst of the bug, but man....all dem sads.

Missed Magria's spawn by probably 1 or 2 minutes... all because I was afk in the wrong spot. /_\

The rare Baby apes spawned today. I was in the process of spreading the word to folks who would probably be after them, but griefers had arrived. 2 people from another realm came in and started killing them off. The last one died like 40 seconds before a tamer friend arrived

I'm constantly seeing mobs of 6-10 horde/alliance just sitting where the minfernals spawn. It's very scary to see people camping like I did for Loque'nahak. I was flying to wintersgrasp to do the pet battle daily for Trixxy and saw at least 3 minfernals and no one near. So I freaked out and went to fly to get one. The moment I landed it changed zones and I was on another server. It doesn't normally take so long for it to change servers on me.

It was almost as heartbreaking as flying around looking for the time lost proto drake and I decided to go one way and when I got to where I was originally going to go I saw a orc killing the drake and flying off with it.
Or having people kill the rain-spawn monkies.

Went to the spawn point of Manas, grey dragonhawk, and found his corpse. How disappointing. -.-

I went to go see if Manas was up, and to my luck, he was! and nobody was around. I had wanted to tame him, but, I decided that I should give him to Sara who had been camping him longer. Well, just then, an ally Panda shows up. I did want Manas myself, and Sara was so far away....I decided to tame Manas, then help Sara camp him. So, I dismissed my pet, and started to tame. I watch as the panda hunter pulls out his/her pet, dismisses it...then Shoots Manas dead at my feet. then flew off.

I dont know who (I think the name was) Shootingstars (Worgie hunter)...allie hunter who was politiely camping with me for the rare red serpant...I am so sorry for the stupid horde hunter who attacked you...I told him to stop and he refused them cussed me out as well. It spawned and my guildie and I waited for awhile to see if you would come back since you where there first but when you didnt show up I tamed it. I feel so horrible that idiot killed you. I really hope you get him

I just lost Arconiss to a night elf who turned out to be a backstabber. Was nice to my face then when Arconiss spawned, she tamed her over me even though she was told by a friend of mine how long I'd been waiting. I'm... on the verge of giving up completely now.

Dont give up! But maybe you should go take a small break, okay? He's the most popular of the new pets it seems.

I'd keep trying, but what I would do is do stuff you enjoy and check in on the 'hawk periodically. I have an 80 BE on SC I might be able to help with. I'll move her when I can.

It's not worth getting too flustered over... I know I've had this or that tame yoinked from me, disconnected during some raid boss etc. Can get ticked off initially for a little bit, then just simmer down do something else, play a different character. Right now Arconiss(sp), is hella' popular, just camped out with six mix of horde & alliance standing on the summoning circle all dropping frost traps, curious what the heck will happen when it does spawn...all you can do is try later.
