Double posting but finally just saw the trailer for Warm Bodies.. I want to see this movie. I fully support any human/paranormal love story that ISNT a werewolf or a vampire.. And this.. this looks funny too.

Today was awesome. I got up late, missed my lecture, went to McDonalds with a friend and then went to see Rise of the Guardians.
After that AMAZING performance of a film that I will go and see again at least another two times, I went to do a bit of Christmas shopping as well as buying myself some nice new winter boots.
It started snowing. Today was the first proper day of snow we've had this year. It makes me so happy.

But on an odd subject, I was in HMV when suddenly I started getting a bunch of texts from my friends, asking me where I was, if I was walking back alone, etc. This was really kinda weird for them, I called them to ask what was up, apparently they'd just found out that a girl got raped last night on a road that's two minutes from where we live - the road I would be walking back home on, alone. Without even saying anything other than I was planning on coming home after I was done in HMV, they insisted on coming to meet me and walking me back.

Sometimes I like my time alone, to myself.
But I absolutely adore my friends and I'm so happy to be living in a uni dorm with them right now.

So sometimes when breeding Pokemon in my games, I joke to myself that "I'm gonna hatch a Shiny one of these before I get the one that's right for what I need.", but I've never been right about that, sadly.

Until tonight.

I've been hatching Gastly since Monday. The little jerks have been LAUGHING at me this entire time, too, since they JUST WON'T BE RIGHT.

About 20 minutes ago, I was reading something on my iPad when an egg hatched. I take a second to look back at the screen.. And I see a little Gastly floating there. With blue gas around it. Not purple. Blue.

A Shiny.

A. Shiny. Gastly.

I have been wanting one of these little things for YEARS. And I just randomly hatched one.

I have no clue what I'm going to do with him, since while his nature and characteristic fit the Gengar character that I have almost PERFECTLY.. I'm not entirely sure if I suddenly want to make that character a Shiny. He was never meant to be a Shiny, since he was actually based on a Gengar character from one of the Pokemon games. (YesImeanPokemonMysteryDungeonnowshutup) So.. He's not really supposed to be a Shiny. Granted, I could argue that, uh, Gengar doesn't look too different as a Shiny.. But I just dunno. Besides, I always had the idea of that if I ever did get a Shiny Gastly, I would most likely never evolve it, because I like Shiny Gastly so much and it looks the best out of its evolution line as a Shiny. But the fact that this guy has the right Hidden Power type I need, and his nature/characteristic work so well? AUGH I JUST DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HIM.

But regardless..

I wanna see that so bad because Hugh Jackman is the bunny and Santa is Russian. xD Plus the villain seems like a mighty big badass and his voice gives me shivers. I also wanna see Wreck-It Ralph and Warm Bodies.. Damn you January, I cant wait for Warm Bodies that long!

I'm really annoyed about Wreck-It Ralph! It looks amazing but the UK are the second last country to get it, wtf? :/ We don't get it here till February...
Also Rise of the Guardians was even better the second time around! Can't wait to see it again in a few weeks with the boyfriend. <3
Ohohoh and I finished wrapping Christmas pressies today and we used the spare paper to wrap my friend up and give her to her boyfriend as an 'early Christmas gift'. xD

I've had so much to be happy about recently!

Today, me and the housemates had our own little Christmas dinner/party before we all head home to see families for the holidays.
... MUCH FOOD AND FUN AND PRESENTS WERE HAD. (And, shockingly, no alcohol! We were being good!)
The dinner, kindly cooked by my good friend Trevor, was amazingly delicious if not filling... AND I GOT A BOBBLEHEAD EZIO FIGURINE AND A NEW SNOW LEOPARD HOOD EEEEEEEEE
