Checking beasts on WoWHead
I wish there was a web site that displayed all the things labeled as "beasts". Like WoW Head. WoW Head says there's over 4 thousand but I can't get it to display more than 200 or so. I know there's gotta be more "hidden tames" like the maggot Parasite.
Re: Checking beasts on WoWHead
While Wowhead limits itself to 200 max results, you can still see all of them by using the filters to view a limited level range, and then repeating with a new range. Just ensure the range you choose returns less than 200 results and you'll eventually get all of them.Protego wrote:I wish there was a web site that displayed all the things labeled as "beasts". However that will be an insanely long process
Instead, if you go to NPCs -> Beasts -> and then select a specific family, you should be able to see all the members of that family listed. The Amber Parasite is there under "Worm". However even things that can't be tamed are listed there, if they are classed as worms. For example all the "crust burster" style worms are classed that way, even though they can't be made tameable because they only have half a body.

Plus, even some of the ones listed as 'tameable' might not be. A lot of 'already controlled' beasts, and even a few that aren't even flagged as tameable, are listed as 'tameable'. So it can still be a crap shoot! You'd still have to manually test a lot of things.
Come see Kurasu's stables!
