This is supposed to be for the rant thread, but since this deals with female reproductive stuff I decided to post this here.

Hours before I'm leaving for vacation and I get my period. Just... URGH! I don't want to do anything right now but curl up on the bed and sleep, but I need to finish packing and get my bunny's stuff in the car and her crated so I can take her to my parent's house 45 minutes away so they can watch her while we are gone.

I got my period during our vacation the past three years. We go to conventions for vacations so it's not like we can change the dates of our vacation. It's just unlucky and I think my body hates me. I cannot have a pain-free vacation anymore!

Periods are strong evidence of Murphy's law. They love to pop up when you least want them. :|

This whole trying to get pregnant thing gets tiring mentally/emotionally sometimes. I know everyone says not to think about it and it'll just happen, but as long as we have a chance, I make sure to try around the time I'd ovulate. It's hard not to think about it, know what I mean? Blargh.

I ovulated last Wednesday, or at least I'm almost 100% sure I did. We had sex Tuesday night and Thursday night, so we should be okay there. Then, this past Monday or Tuesday (six or seven days after ovulation), I had just peed and was wiping when something pulled my hair (I know, TMI). That's odd, because that usually only happens to me on my period. I checked out the toilet paper and there was this little dab of brown. I was like, what the heck? I'm very very VERY particular when it comes to making sure I'm clean after pooping, so I really don't think it was any leftovers from that (that and the color was not the same). So, naturally, the first thing that came to mind was implantation spotting. Also, my boobs have been pretty sore since early this week. Not the nipples like they say, just the breast itself, mainly the bottom of them underneath the nipple.

However, none of those are really conclusive when it comes to early pregnancy symptoms, so the only thing I can do is just wait and see if my period hits next Wednesday like it should.

Sometimes I just wish that there was some giant neon sign that popped up when it happened, so I didn't have to go through this hoping and waiting and uncertainty. For about two years we've been trying. I'm just getting tired, ya know?

At least we have the new house to look forward to. I don't need to get pregnant right now or anything since I have other things to worry about and focus on, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it to happen sooner rather than later.

Blah. Oh well. The main thing that I'm really happy about is that I ovulated on my own. I was taking clomid for anovulation. I didn't think I'd ovulate without it. But then, this month I noticed my cervical mucous was really watery. Like, really REALLY watery. It ran down my leg when I woke up in the morning around day eight or so. Then it got a little thicker but still plentiful. Then, on day eleven I had cramps on the right side; it kind of wrapped around from my right abdomen to the right side of my back. It hurt all day long. So yeah, I definitely think day 11 was it (and my period usually hits on day 25, so exactly 14 days before my period like they say).

Oh, also, I've been really thirsty the past two or three days. I drank almost 80 ounces of water today, and now I'm dying of thirst again. I NEVER go through that much water in a single day. It's like I couldn't get enough of it. I didn't drink much of it the past couple days, but I should have because I was so thirsty. I kept drinking coffee like a twit. :P

Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble on. There's just so much going on right now that it feels like too much sometimes. So many big things happening, so many things I hope for and pray for. The hardest part is just not knowing what the future holds. But, I guess that's what makes life the journey it is.

I really hope you luck out, sooner or later. I can only imagine how it must be to go around like that, waiting, and the disappointment when your period starts. :(

I didn't feel like creating a new topic when I can just bump this one with a brief statement. I'm sitting in a recliner having an iron infusion to help bump up my levels to acceptable. My gynecological issues left me deficient in iron and I'm finally getting the treatments I need. I'm still waiting on the gynecologist results to tell me if I have PCOS or endometriosis. However, the upside is I should feel better soon. At least a little.

Because, as part of my greater Uterine Plot Theory, your girl bits love to drop more trouble on you. :| Stress apparently brings your period on. In my case, it was smack in the middle of my vacation or during finals... CURSE YOU INTERNAL NOT DANGLY BITS!

As strange as this sounds, I'm praying every night to get my period. It's been almost 3 months now with NOTHING. I'm worried and I'm not sure whats going on. Before you guys say it, no. I'm not preggers. I've never done the dirty. I suppose you can say I'm waiting for the right one. (Not willing to take the risk of getting anything from someone D; If I'm going to do it and run a risk of something, I'd rather it be with someone I love.)
Anyways.. Like I said. No clue whats going on. 5 months ago I was thrown out of my parents house. Long story short, I grew up as the baby of the family and never really learned how to be on my own. I ended up moving in with a guy I've been friends with on WoW for years. He's just a friend, nothing more. Not that it matters. XD The first few months I was regular.. but now I've been missing my periods. I'm wondering if it's the fact that I'm stressed to the point of almost having mental breakdowns or if it's the fact that my friends mom (He still lives with her... So we're with her) is going through her menopause. Or maybe there is something terribly wrong with me? D:
Coming from a rich family and moving in with a dirt poor family has been driving me crazy. We're struggling with the bills and keeping the roof over our head. Only get enough food stamps to have one meal a day and such. I don't want to get too into it. I ended up using all $7k of my Grandmothers Will money that was given to me paying their bills and rent to keep 'em off the streets. I guess I have a problem saying no. It's got to the point where I've nothing left and I've been stressing out terribly.
So like I said. I dunno if that has anything to do with me missing 'em or not.

Siggy under construction!

I'd lean toward stress as the cause, so don't fret too much yet! After I graduated from college I went an entire year without a period. I had attributed it to also not getting a new prescription for my pill (didn't have insurance coverage), and I was also without that for the year. So that coupled with in-general stress but have just meant my body didn't want to plain ol' do anything. I already have a strange cycle where I'm constantly just behind schedule (which is why I'm on the pill -- also because it's SUPPOSED to quell my raging acne, that I still get, despite my age), so just not having a cycle at all is confusing and concerning. It also led to constantly having to insist to family that I was not pregnant.

When I was finally able to get an appt. with my Gyn, I told her what had happened, we did some bloodwork, and she got back to me noting some low levels of (I don't even remember), but since I basically restarted my cycle normally after all of that, we both shrugged it off as a flukey stress on-pill off-pill thing.

--

I feel like I'm getting something similar to a Bartholin abscess. It's not quite the right area, but it is just this terrible small little lump of pain/itch that pops up for a week every couple of months and my attempts to lance it often don't help. I wanted to take a nice hot soaky bath this time around to possibly stop it, but our tub seems to lack a proper stopper mechanism, and I would just get annoyed sitting in a slowly draining tub. :(

I would have written it off as my bad acne popping up in bad places, but it doesn't follow the behavior of a pimple at all. I tried researching it last time it cropped up and got all kinds of theories ranging from "otherwise harmless thing that will go away" to "IT'S THE WORST POSSIBLE PROGNOSIS". Sigh. At least my OBGYN physical is in a month... I can bring it up then, because the fact that it keeps showing up in the same spot is concerning me a bit.

Oh wow o_O An entire year? Wow... Well that makes me feel a little better xD
College is pretty stressful. So I can see that happening. Not much more stressful than worrying about assignments and tests, costs of books... X_X Ugh.
LOL and yeah. I'm worried about mentioning how long I've been without mine to my parents. Because the first thing they're going to do is think that I moved in with this guy from the internet. They're from an older generation, so they wouldn't believe anything I said until I had a doctor prove it to them xP
Interesting how that all works though. Stress making cycles stop, then all of a sudden they start up again when everything is back to normal.
Thank you again. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who ever went this long. ^^;

If body fat falls below the minimum to be healthy, menstruation will stop. So a poor diet can definitely cause that.

So quick question, but has anyone here had the wand procedure done for cysts or fibroids? I've been dealing with them for 15 yrs and frankly they are becoing incredibly painful when they rupture, on the other hand I am terrified of surgery, so hoping this may be a viable alternative.

if I'm correct on what you mean when you say wand, I personally have not had any experience with it, but 2 of my co-workers did. One it worked very well for and she did great. The other had horrible complications and ended up with the surgery anyway. Make a list of questions to ask your doctor.
