The riddle to Riddles!

A hunter specific quest chain opens, "The riddle of Riddles". - help 3 famous lore characters track down and defeat/subdue Riddles, the enegmatic Pterodax!

Riddles is a purple and yellow Pterodax (reference to Ridley from Metroid series). Riddles was arcane infused during the original sundering, and has appeared as myth in and out of history. Sightings have been reported in Azeroth, Norhrend, Outland and most recently Pandaria.

The quest will begin wih Nessingwary who's out for his latest "prize", carry over to Outland where Rexxar gets involved, then over to Northrend where Vareesa's long lost ranger sister, Alleria will lend her aid.

The climax if the quest will take you to the Titan terrace in Un'Goro where the 3 hunters will assist you in subduing Riddles. At 50%, Riddles stuns all hunters, and you, the hero choose which hunter you will have help you finish the fight.

Rexxar will enlist his multitude of animal companions to quell Riddles spirit, enabeling him to be tamed.

Alleria will use her dexterity to dazzle and subdue Riddles to serve as your mount.

Nessingwary will use his traps and cunning to help vanquish Riddles, then craft you armor from the beasts hide as a trophy.

Pterodax pet will be categorized as a bat, share the family skill and be usable by all specs.

Pterodax mount is a hunter specific flying and ground mount. Only usable on the hunter you completed the quest chain with.

Pterodax Transmog armor will give you the metalic purple/gold armor that resembles riddles. Your disengage ability will proc wings which flap appearing to send you backwards. The bow which looks like a purple Pterodax sideways procs with arcane shots appearing to shoot small fireballs in it's place.

Also, completion of the chain will ear feat of strength, "Riddle me this..." And the Riddles Jr. companion pet, (companion pet sized Riddles).

Heh, that's why I said read the description. It would be character specific like all other class mounts. So if you chose the mount on a hunter, but have other hunters on your account, the mount would only be available on the one who completed the quest and chose the mount.

It's what makes it interesting. You really have to decide which is more important to that specific hunter. No takesies backsies!

Mount! Because:
- I wouldn't use a bat-familly pet anyway.
- hunters /need their own mount
- mount + companions combos are just cute
- trasmog...? Meh, I've already got enough mog sets to not have bank space for more.

As much as I'd love a pterrodax, I don't believe this is the way to go with it. I guess mount?

Still, before they do anything with pterrodaxes (pterrodaxi? pterrodactes?), they'd need to work on their animations, so they don't look like broken in half. (You know what I'm talking about, that limp-looking lower body)

Pet Defo pets.. has to many mounts which i dont use - and my bank vault and my void storrage is filled with mogging sets

I don't like it being a class mount. :/ I'd want it to be account bound or I wouldn't want it at all, tbh. Annoys me I can't show off ALL the mounts I have.

Wish I could change my vote now. If it's not gonna allow me to have it for all toons, then I want it to be a hunter pet.

Haha, I suppose. My initial mistake was assuming people knew who Ridley was. Suppose I'm just a big Nintendo fan.

Right there with ya! I love dinosaurs, and always covet them when new xpacs come out (had been eyeballing Mushan for a long time too).
