A continuation from http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 43&t=19488 :

I got to the section of the alliance quest that sends you down there and the only figures that get unfrozen from the jade are the Monkey King and the mogu he's fighting. So no luck on the unadorned jade quilen.

But even if they were unfrozen I guess they could be any colour underneath. Everything in there was made to look like jade when it froze.
