Suggest Me Some Add-ons?

Since I came back, all my add-on's are well...not added on. I need help finding some good ones for my character.. I know there is a xmog add-on but I dont remember what its called. I also cant for the life of me remember what the rare finding add-on is called. I know theres pet emote as well but I dont remember if thats been updated or still works.

Also can anyone tell me what the site for add-on's is again? Its been so long I forget, then again I probably forget how to put an add-on on my account. I'm hopeless.

MogIt, NPCScan/SilverDragon, and Curse, in that order. WoWInterface also has addons as well.

NPCscan is a big one for rares.
DBM, Deadly Boss Mods, as well for boss fights and timers etc.
MogIt if you enjoy transmogrification.

Ok so I went to download them but cant find myself a WoW folder other than for screenshots? I'm a bit lost.. I downloaded WoW from the website so idk if that means anything or if I simply need to create the folder for Add-on's.

It's under Interface. I'd recommend using the Curse Client.

Addons go in the Interface/addons folder. I personally add and update mine manually and would not recommend using the Curse client or any other auto-update program. It's too easy to get a bad one or even a bogus one by using those clients.

Addons are in the interface folder. I use Curse Client tho, which puts them there automatically. I've never had any problems with Curse Client, other than it being slow to load when you log into it.

I've never had problems save for what Teigan said. Curse client is definitely safe and they update their client often to keep it safe.

Besides the obvious ones like DMB and NPC scan, I recommend:

Tomtom and tomtomping for help finding things such as the spawn point of battle pets, onyx eggs and lost and found items. (great for pesky quests with hard to find npcs too)
If you are a mount collector you can use Litemount.
If you PVP, Healers have to die /Battlegroundtargets are amazing

If you make an account on Curse you can choose to download the addons with curse client and they will set everything up for you automatically.
