So I *finally* started the Order of the Cloud Serpent rep today! Like a million years after everyone else.
... I found out about the Onyx Eggs. My obsession with farming them begins... now.

Edit: Found three tonight! But now I'm dead and as much as I want these mounts... bed times. Boyfriend's here tomorrow, yays. c:

I kinda feel like it's worth it more to get loads of cards *and* possibly a Feldrake instead of just the one card.

How do the TCG people get so many demonic eyes? I'm now imagining a factory line full of gnome warlocks, chopping eyes out of tied up imps. (Sorry, that was a messed up image)

It depends if you actually have a use for the other cards i.e play the TCG game. If not, like me, it would probably be a better idea to either buy it with real money individually or save enough gold to get one in-game (I'm attempting to do the latter for the Savage Raptor).

I don't really play the game if I'm honest, but I do collect the cards. Well, at least now I do.

I also like that level of mystery you get from it... it's kinda exciting to think that, with every pack of cards you open, there's a chance there's the card you want inside it. Expensive hobby, I know! But kinda fun in a really odd kinda way.

Yeah indeed. I play Magic: The Gathering and I always find it more fun to open a card I want rather than just buying it (especially a if it's a foil version).

Oh I understand lol it can get quite uh addicting. I bought a ton of hot packs but alas no mount for me but it still was thrilling to open. Just costs so much to lol.

It is expensive, yes, but a *lot* cheaper to buy the boxes online. I saved myself about £20 by buying my own box instead of buying packs from the shops.
My boyfriend's bought me a brand new box for Christmas though. C: I don't get it until the 2nd though. D:

Theres not alot of feldrakes I can find for sale, must be a difficult card to find or most people just end up keeping it lol. I find it hard to even find hot packs for it.

Really? War of the Ancients is the current set that people are collecting, it should be the easiest to find. o:
I've only ever seen one Feldrake in game but to be honest I don't think that TCG cards are selling as well as they used to, therefore the lack of newer TCG mounts being found.

So my addiction to Onyx Egg hunting got me exalted in only a few days. I wish more reputations were like that!
... But holy shit, these mounts. THESE MOUNTS. They're beautiful. <3 I'm really fond of the golden one I raised. Something about these mounts feels... different to other mounts. I'm not sure what it is or if I'm just going a tad insane out of happiness that I finally have these but they're such smooth fliers and hng. <3 I looooooooove my golden one. I call him Celeste.
