Question About Soloing Bloodlord

I've yet to try a solo on this guy (for obvious reasons) but the first question that comes to mind for me: Can/does Bloodlord cast his decapitate through Feign Death? Could you thus use FD to better time the tossing of the snake trap, or even to keep him from using it?

I farmed old ZG constantly for the raptor and never had it drop, though I got the tiger. I really want this second chance!

As long as you're in combat with him (and you most likely will be even during FD), you're a viable target for Decapitation, so theoretically, he should. Now we just need someone to confirm or deny that theory from practice.

Pretty sure nope, FD will not save you. Just have to time it right the sanke trap. Tried numerous times in cata to save myself.. nope lol he still one shots yah.

I played only a hunter in the warcraft and also loved to collect mounts. I have personally soloed alot of instance and raid for mounts including the old and new zg. For the new ZG bloodlord it could be soloed by a hunter.
And you do not have to clear any adds to reach the boss. Start by Md the boss to your pet and dps away,3-5sec into the fight, put a snake trap below boss. If you timed correctly, the snakes from the trap will keep boss in combat before you get rez. When you are rez, quickly used dire beast to keep boss in combat as sometime your pet will not come out.
Summon back pet and the boss will usually summon out his raptor. Always kill off the raptor , and the put snake trap below boss again.Keep repeating the cycles, usually it will take 4 rez to 5 rez to kill off boss.
You might need to practice a few time to correct the timing but sometime the raptor might despawn and you will have to roughly timed when to put snake trap.

I have personally soloed and got the raptor after 40tries on my hunter, currenly the panther boss still do not wish to drop her mount for me.
