I know, what could I possibly do with ANOTHER cat?
Well, love him of course.
Meet Xeadas.

I fell in love with this skin when I saw someone in Stormwind with it a year or so ago. I, unfortunately, was full on stable slots. Back then, I needed a variety of pets for raid buffs and couldn't justify another cat when I already had a bunch. So I just watched longingly everytime I saw the Hunter in Stormwind with the gorgeous white cat, adoring it and how beautiful the pure white skin was.
Then came Pandaria, where raid buffs were consolidated and it ended up freeing up a few slots for me, but also introduced some new skins and models that I wanted. So those spots were quickly filled back up again. Fast forward a bit and I find myself wondering about some of my pets that simply sit in the stables. I have Ashtail, which was never named, and an Armored Wolf from Hellfire, also which was never named. They both hardly ever got out, especially the wolf because I was always BM and preferred to use my Devilsaur instead. Now that I have another Hunter, who focuses on collecting wolves, I saw a good opportunity to "pass" him on to my other Hunter in a way. He just lost his armor and became Zev, the black worg. This is also where my Ashtail went as Xalyndrie had already tamed it.
So, with the freed up stable slots I fought with myself about taming the white skin I had always wanted. I decided instead to go camp Quall, another skin I had always liked, to try and keep my mind off taming my desired white cat. I wasn't even sure if I would use it, but I wanted to atleast give Quall a try first to see if he fit with Seilahyn. I must have arrived shortly after Quall was killed, because it took almost 2 hours for him to finally show.. and right as a leveling Horde stopped in the hut for a quest. My heart jumped and, as quickly as I could, started the tame. The Tauren came out of the hut, stopped and turned to look at me and the newly spawned rare I was taming, then wandered off as the tame completed. After the tame finished and I had the bright blue gem owl next to me, it sort of grew on me. He might just stay with her.
Now with Quall tamed and out of the way, back to my dilemma:
To tame the white cat, or not to.
I have so many cats now as is... could I really justify another?
Should I?
YES, GIVE IN!
Off to Mount Hyjal and down the side of the mountain I went into Winterspring, by far one of my most favorite zones in the game. I went up to the "pride rock" and sought out the white beauty. When I found one, I did hesitate. I flew around it for a bit, checking it out from every angle... then gave in and landed. I started the tame and shortly after had the white cat by my side. I then realized I had the matching companion and summoned it to meet its big brother, which was almost a sister for a while. I actually struggled to make this one male. Something is definitely wrong with me! A female pet? All of mine are male! Maybe I was stuck on female because the one I saw in Stormwind all the time was female.
It took me a bit of searching, but I finally decided on Xeadas as his name. It means frost in Galician.

Snow's 'main' pet and constant companion is a white frostsaber. He started out back when they were only the lion model. But when they came out with the white-skinned frostsaber model, he grew up. His name is Pujurak, which means icy mist in inuit. Now Puju even as a son that he's teaching the ropes to. Gorgeous gorgeous model

I somehow missed this post, but yay on finally taming your heart's desire! I also think that that is a gorgeous model. The solid white and the solid black are probably my two favorite of the saber cats. I really like his name, too. It is very masculine.

I think what I am drawn to the most about Xeadas is his eyes. I love the bright, piercing green eyes that stand out against the white fur. I always loved Rak'Shiri's eyes as well as they're the same bright green, but against the aqua skin they don't seem to stand out as much as on the pure white.
I also blame the little guy. I grabbed two rares in pet battles of the little white cub as my tame I couldn't have... which ultimately helped cave me in seeing that little cute bugger.
