Well, the glow disappears on death, and isn't a buff. So, if they could be tamed with it, it would probably be one of those that would be cleared if the pet died. From what I understand of how this works.

You mean the ones with a blue glow on the paws? The, I think they were called iceclaw bears or something, are in the zone, not the instance. You could do duels.

Icepaw Bears are the white bears with blue feet, they are in Zul'Drak, a zone not an instance, and The Storm Peaks. Not sure what you guys are talking about not being able to duel

My Mistake, when he said ZD I thought inside the instance, not the zone. Icepaw bears already confirmed to be a fragile buff from last time we had the trick open.

In the original post, "It works, Sha aura effect pet", the duel method was not used, kill/revive, may be the only way to get the 4 instanced beasts. I might try that with my 85 or 90 depending on how fast they die.

Finally got one of my hunters to 90. How difficult is it to tame the Coldbite Matriarch?

And do I need to do anything as an 85 horde to get Kung Din to show up? I plan on running my troll hunter straight to his location without doing any quests.

Regarding the Mutant War Hound that was mentioned earlier in the post, I decided to go give him a looksie. It appears when you kill the mob it does not keep the green coloring or disease cloud. I think that makes it a bad candidate for a permanent buff pet.

Regarding the Jade Grounds Crane... you the person taming doesn't have to be revered with GL to see them, but someone on your server does? In that, you have to invite them, to see the cranes? Or do I have that wrong? Also the other person helping you Alliance or Horde whoever, that person has to have someone on their server who is revered with GL to see the cranes too to be possible to tame?

I'm asking because:
- Alliance - Revered with GL so no biggy had the quest up once in the past five days
- Horde - haven't worked on many rep quests let alone GL, I've checked the past five days now, on my horde char & I am either getting lousy luck on the daily for my server, or something I'm missing as to why I'm not seeing the cranes along the shore.

5 Jan - Horde 0, Alliance 0

You don't have to have done squat to see the cranes except be level 90. Your server as a whole is coded to have their daily quests randomized and changed day to day. We'll call the different code per temple A, B, C, and D. If we say A is the serpent daily, if it hits 3 am PST and the dailies roll over, if your server's code is changed to A, every 90 should be able to see the cranes, regardless of GL reputation, ect. If you want to make sure what your server's code is for the day, simply ask in gchat or trade, 'What Celestial Daily is up?'.

Too slow. The key sign that is worked is if it gains the text over its head (<Shadow's Pet>) but despawns instantly before it dings. If it dings, the kill came too late.

Such a tease... just had a go where he didn't ding at all but came up as a pet and got rezzed... I hope that doesn't mean they fixed him. Has anyone else had that?
