I do not know. I've emailed Efindel about the issue. There is nothing that I, without his knowledge of programming, can do about that. And I've been getting errors too.

I wrote up a few emotes for the upcoming dire horn family since I'm pretty excited for them and ended up falling in love with them even though I've only seen screenshots and one video of them. Varethyn, I tried my best to keep from duplicating your own emotes for the family while I was writing mine up. I even yoinked an emote from the devilsaur family, because I felt it would fit dire horns as well.

Dire Horn Emotes

Dire Horn snorts explosively, ruffling his/her master/mistress's hair.

Dire Horn bellows and tosses his/her head in a threatening gesture before charging at (hostile target).

Dire Horn stamps a foot and lowers his/her head, displaying his/her frill as he/she glares at (hostile target). Bring it!

Dire Horn bites and tugs on his/her master/mistress's pack, yanking him/her off his/her feet. Feed me!

Dire Horn rumbles and lashes his/her tail
-- anxiously, displaying his/her sharp spikes.
-- angrily, displaying his/her sharp spikes.
-- snapping a nearby sapling in half.
-- narrowly missing his/her master/mistress.

Dire Horn looks over at his/her master/mistress and lumbers off
-- to graze on a patch of nearby grass.
-- to browse on a nearby bush.
-- to nibble curiously upon a clump of nearby plants.

Dire Horn leans
-- protectively against his/her master/mistress and stares at (neutral/friendly target).
-- against his/her master/mistress companionably for a moment.
-- against his/her master/mistress and yawns contentedly.
-- against a nearby rock and scratches his/her side against it, annoyed by an itch.

Dire Horn raises his/her head and bugles before tilting his/her head to listen
-- but no answer comes.
-- a few answering calls are heard in the distance.
-- and bristles when a roar is heard in the distance.

Dire Horn paws at the ground and snorts
-- flinching in surprise when he/she accidentally stirs up a critter.
-- sending up a cloud of dirt and debris, causing him/her to sneeze and shake his/her head.

Edit: Looks like I've still got at least one more. I'll add any more I come up with after this edit with this one:

Dire Horn gently rests a horn on his/her master/mistress's shoulder and rumbles
-- softly.
-- affectionately.
-- nervously.
-- protectively.

I've been using my void walker/voidlord recently leveling through MoP content and I've loved all the emotes. All but one. Most of them have made a lot of sense and been perfect, and then all of a sudden my voidlord emotes: "Xormotos yells BRRAAAAAAIIIIINNNNNSSSS!" This one seems more befitting to the DK ghouls than it does to a void walker, but maybe that's just me. I just don't see anything zombie like about the void walkers, especially after all their other shadow and darkness emotes.

xD It threw me for a loop. I was just out questing and all of a sudden he starts shouting for brains. I dunno, maybe he was roleplaying or something.

I know >.< The gorillas do it sometimes too, or yell about other things. Those....just aren't in there. I have no earthly idea where that emote comes from. It used to be be a DK ghoul emote, but even they don't have it anymore because I didn't like it even on them.

Here, this is a screen cap of both gorillas and voidwalkers. The emote simply isn't there. It shouldn't be happening and I'm at a loss on how to make it go away, since I can't delete something that isn't there. I really, really hate it, and hate that I can't fix it since it ruins the whole feel of the emote set.

Huh, how odd. Well then, I won't worry about it and will just laugh it off as him playing a joke or something when/if he does it again. :D

That is the strangest PetEmote bug I've ever heard of then! Hilarious, though.....also scary. O_O

On a more positive note, how are the Direhorn emotes coming along, btw? Since there were already some solid ideas to build off of. :D

Kalli, they aren't, tbh. Other than what has been contributed. And thank god for those. At least there will be those. Sorry I haven't been doing too well with this lately.

No worries! There's been a lot of new stuff coming with this patch, so it's pretty exhausting!

No, I don't really have an excuse. Its just one family, and I can't even say I'm busy with the PTR, cause I'm not even on it. I know my writing was sub-par for the MoP families and I haven't even touched the direhorns at all, for no good reason.

Don't worry about it Teigs! Vare and Falon look like they came up with a really good selection of Direhorn emotes. Hopefully some other members might come up with more emotes for some of the other families as well. :D I've never been real good at doing these sorts of things but I'd be willing to try and give a few a shot if I get the inspiration.

In other totally random emoting news, my void lord now thinks he's a Kobold.

He's the only one of my two demons to use buggy emotes (he still yells about brains too) and honestly it's just started working into his personality. xD My wrath guard is totally badass, always emoting about being ready for battle and whatnot. Xormotos on the other hand... I think something happened to him in the void or Valnara was accidentally drunk when summoning him so he's not quite right in the head. :P Or perhaps he's gone a little crazed being around the Sha. His emotes of randomness are starting to grow on me. xD

Writing burnout sucks. :( Can relate there too. No worries, though - Tyger's right; Vare and Falcon's stuff is a solid base for the dire horns. :D The MoP families have been fine, as far as I'm concerned. They certainly defined Hippomenes and finally solidified him into a solid personality (after switching skins five times).

Oh gosh, Tyger, Xormotos is wonderful! When you get a chance, you should draw him waving around a demonic candle of some sort!

XD He can go hang with the gorillas that think they're kobolds.......they can talk about candles and doom and brains. (He'll eventually yell something about being doomed. Fair warning) Neither of which are in the emote sets for either..... >.<
I love the part about drunken demon summoning, btw. That actually made me giggle :)

Yes I've tested and it is only this addon causing it.
I only have three addons so not like testing was hard.
I'm not getting any errors in 5.1.

If I could draw I totally would! I might be able to figure out how to Photoshop it though. :P

At this point, I think he might just get along with gorillas that are just as dazed and confused as he is. xD I wonder if it's because I'm running the old version of Pet Emote that it's causing some of the emotes to screw up or if it's just some random happenstance. Either way, it went from being jarring to being hilarious, especially since it just comes out of the blue, usually after he's emoting about being all dark and shadowy.

And well, drunkenly trying to summon one of her more powerful demons sounds like something Valnara would probably try to do. xD She's not always the brightest crayon in the box.

Guys, it's Falcon not 'Falon'. Sorry, I had to get that out. Seems like it's an easy mixup, though, I remember on one episode of a gameshow I used to watch, a contestant was named Fallon, and the host called her Falcon. XD Sorry for the derail, it was something I needed to correct.

I'm really happy that people like the dire horn emotes, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to come up with anymore, at least not at the moment. I really wish I could actually work with them, but the PTR refuses to work for me, so that's putting a huge damper in my creativity.

I'm sorry about that; I was quickly skimming looking for your post because I was on lunch break so my brain saw Falon and not Falcon.  One of those things where the brain puts together a word with the letters without really seeing it.
