Just for the fun of it I created a new hunter character on the Bloodhoof server. She's an Orc and it didn't take long to get her to level 13. I just tamed Dishu. Was really surprised to see her laying there sleeping. I really want many of the Barrens' rares. Dishu so far seems to be the lowest level rare in the area. I turned in a quest and the next was the Horn of Echeyake. I'm only level 13 so I may have plenty of time to hit 16 to tame him and complete the quest.
My question is how many times are you allowed to use the horn to summon him???
If it's more then once then anyone on bloodhoof looking to tame Echeyake please look me up. Her name is Rexia. I also hope to have the gold soon to afford the stable slots to house Dishu, Snort, Echeyake, Humar and my Tallstrider Mazzranache whom I already have. Bummer is, no room for Takk unless I let someone go. It may be Snort because he's the only one that's seems to be in no real danger. Ahhhhh the dilemma begins (again) of what to do.
Even if you do use the horn and don't get Echeyakee, if you get someone kind enough to help once you want him later on, they can use their horn to summon him and you can get him. Same for vice versa.
It's the same when, speaking of white lions, you or another player wants Sian-Rotam in Winterspring. I remember how only horde can perform that three-quest chain (Not sure but I don't think that's true anymore; anyone can do that chain quest now, horde or not), thus it's easy money when you make note in chat you're going to spawn Sian-Rotam if another horde player with an alliance hunter wants him.
I'm almost to 16 and have save the gold to buy a new stable slot since I'm not willing to release Dishu or Mazz. So I guess I will be the first tame and then abandon the quest hopefully pick it up again and allow my friend to also make the tame. This should happen tonight as I am VERY close to 16. I will take photos!
No freeze trap yet so wish me luck.
Eche is a basic, easy tame, no need for freeze trap. I did it the moment I turned 16 and I had no trouble. Just clear out the resident lions, have AotM up and you're good to go!

I remember the lioness pair that patrol nearby respawn very fast. Probably the easiest way is to stand on the ledge of the hill that's right next to the bones, call him, and then aggro him up there away from the other lions. :3
Thanks for the tip and yes I'll be sure to clear the area before blowing the summoning horn to avoid any potential attacks.
Cool part is my friend is leveling his Tauren hunter in the same areas and will hopefully pick the quest up on his own soon so he can tame Echeyake.
I wave of laziness came over me last night so I didn't work with this toon. Maybe tonight.
Actually youguys are all mistaken, Echeyake canbe summoned as manytimes asyou like, on myrealm whenI wastaming himI needed a few barsto level to16 so Isat there farming him over and overagain andpeople that cameup who neededhim I invitedinto group toget him.
