He found it earlier and was hoping it'd hatch into his own raptor mount. Until you kill him

Been pushed back to 5.3, and they hope to give it a unique model, rather than the scaled down dire horn. :S

Also, the "we have a cool replacement" made me feel that they're adding something else to 5.2. They're already adding one baby armoured devilsaur pet, so I'm not sure unless it's another colour of that, or a mini new-model pterodactyl.

There's also this "Cookbot" pet in the database in the latest patch. I haven't seen any reference to it anywhere yet, but maybe I missed it:

The guy actually stirs his frying pan as he moves. Pretty cool.

Hopefully not. With luck, it will just be a model like the raptor babies: still cute, but also terrifying.

mini armored devilsaur? i thought it was a raptor hatchling with a helmet similar to Oondasta. am i mistaken or is this a completely different pet?

Updates in new build. 5 new pets, including cookbot, a new python model, icons for the python in different colors, icon for a lightning croc, and a "Pygmy Direhorn"

MMO-Champion and Wowhead have new pets listed in the new ptr patch

Direhorn Runt,
Ji-Kun Hatchling, (the young feathered raptor icon)
Pierre, (icon looks like the cookbot)
Pygmy Direhorn,
Spawn of G'nathus. (looks like it uses the thunder eel icon)

Wowhead also has a model for a python pet (not a skin I've seen. black and reddy/purple markings with grey underbelly)

Plus Intact Devilsaur Hide allows you to disguise yourself as a devilsaur. awesomesauce (think it may only work on the isle of giants though)

Edit - MMO-Champion now has a Wild Thunder Pterrorwing Hatchling but it's a quest item. Still, opens the hope that there may be a learnable pet version at some point.
