Heroic dungeon lockout question

I don't know if I'm using the right words in the thread title but...

I am trying to get a mount from a heroic dungeon.
I've been dual-boxing the dungeon, which is fine.

When I do a Heroic dungeon, a lock sets in, and I can only do it once a day. Fine.

but how does it work if one character is locked out of a dungeon, but the other isn't?

For example, I did my heroic on my main Hunter, and dual-boxed him with my main Warlock. They are both now locked from doing that same heroic for another 24 hours or so.

But what if I now party my main Hunter with a different toon from my other account, one who has not done that particular Heroic dungeon today? Will one be able to enter the dungeon, while the other won't?

Yes I think that's how it works.

My information might be out of date, but it at least used to be that once you were locked to a dungeon the only way to do it again before the lock expired was via random LFH.

It will take the completed most progressed lock available out of any players entering the instance. Well that's how raid locks work at any rate.
